Good question, Tevka! As KinzPost Courier, I can tell you that all the creative pet ideas that Webkinz players send in are absolutely seen by our team here. That’s what inspired us to do a Design-a-Dog Contest AND to run the ongoing Ganz Fanz Art Showcase here on Webkinz Newz — we wanted to share everyone’s great drawings! While it’s impossible to make every pet that’s sent in, we sure do love seeing what our players come up with.

Dear Webkinz,

What happens when you adopt a Pet of the Month earlier than its actual special month? In its month do I still get the adoption gifts?

Howdy, Sandrina! In case anyone reading isn’t quite sure what the Pet of the Month is, it’s a different pet chosen each month by Ganz. When you adopt it in its special month (for instance, May 2014′s Pet of the Month is the Lilac Guinea Pig), you get a loot bag full of surprises along with your regular adoption gifts. Unfortunately, if you adopt the pet outside of its special month, you won’t receive the loot bag. My advice? Wait until your pet is in the spotlight as Pet of the Month and get some sweet loot!
