Dex Dangerous has charmed us all over the years appearing on the big screen and staring in his very own video game: “Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbotz”. He has his own action figure, has appeared on numerous magazine covers over the course of his career and could easily be considered one of Kinzville’s most famous residents. Dex has now found himself in the spotlight once again, officially announcing that he is running for mayor of Kinzville. You can read his official election speech HERE. Dex has promised that if he were to be elected as mayor he would release a Dex Dangerous Mega Fan room theme in the W-Shop however, this would be the only new theme released in 2015. He would also schedule “Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbotz” as the Game of the Day for an entire month.
Today I am very excited to welcome Dex Dangerous into our Webkinz Newz studio for an exclusive one on one interview!
ELLA: Dex, it’s great to have you with us today. I have to admit I’m a fan.
DEX: Thank you Ella. I’d be lying if I said I was surprised.
ELLA: Let’s get right to it. Based on your election speech, I think that some might be concerned that if you were to become mayor, you would not be fully committed to doing the best job possible. How would you respond to that?
DEX: Let’s face it, I have a lot of free time on my paws right now. I am currently in between projects and would like to focus on politics. Plus, this could be great for my career. I think that some of the other candidates already have their hands full with other commitments like running the Kinzville Academy and Employment Office. I can be fully invested if I get this role.
ELLA: You mentioned that if you were to be elected you would only release one new W-Shop theme next year: the Dex Dangerous Mega theme. Is this still the case?
DEX: Yes, but I have read in the tabloids that some kinz think that I wouldn’t re-release the Halloween or Christmas room themes next year. Don’t believe everything you read! Of course I would re-release those themes again next year however, no new items would be released along with them.
ELLA: Does that apply to the seasonal themes in the W-Shop as well, like the Beach House and Fruit room themes?
DEX: Affirmative. I would definitely bring those themes back to the W-Shop next year however, no new items would be re-released with them. Kinzfolk will want to save their KinzCash so they can get the Dex Dangerous Mega Fan room theme anyway. This theme is going to be pretty amazing!
ELLA: Would the Dex Dangerous Mega Fan room theme be available to Deluxe players only?
DEX: A few of the items would be for Deluxe players only but the majority of them would be available to full members as well.
ELLA: Can you sneak peek any of the items that will be included in the Dex Dangerous Mega Fan room theme?
DEX: Sorry Ella. This theme is top secret and I cannot leak any details at this time.
ELLA: You promise to feature “Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbotz” as the Game of the Day for an entire month. What was the thinking behind that decision?
DEX: That was just my way of thanking my fans who have been so loyal over the years.
ELLA: Thank you for spending time with us today Dex. Is there anything else you would like to say about your campaign before you go?
DEX: Thanks Ella. I just hope that everyone makes the Heroic Choice at the end of the month and vote for Dex Dangerous as mayor of Kinzville!
