Hello Webkinz Newz readers, it’s Ella McWoof, your official “Webkinz Votes 2014” election reporter!
Daisy Doe, an aspiring vegetarian chef who recently arrived in Kinzville, announced yesterday (October 3rd) that she wants to run for mayor of Kinzville, launching Kinzville’s first ever mayoral election: “Webkinz Votes 2014”!
Daisy mentioned in a speech submitted to Webkinz Newz that if she becomes mayor she will replace Mr. Moo’s ice cream cart in the Kinzville Park with her own healthy snack stand. She also promises to replace the unhealthy foods in the W-Shop with healthier alternatives and increase the health boosts of foods in the shop.
The news has Webkinz everywhere talking. It also has everyone wondering: Who will be next to join the mayoral race? Potential candidates have until October 31st to officially join the race and announce their campaigns. Anyone is eligible to enter and I will release special reports as this story unfolds.
I spoke with Mr. Moo briefly about Daisy’s idea to close down his stand and asked if he would be joining the mayoral race and run against Daisy Doe. He said, and I quote, “I have a business to run and won’t be running for mayor at this point. I am confident that everyone in Kinzville will vote to keep my cart in the park.”
The actual election that will decide who will become the mayor of Kinzville will happen right here on Webkinz Newz from November 28th – 30th. Election results will be announced on Monday, Dec 1st.

nooooo! webkinz world is fine without a mayor, and i know that our ice cream cart needs to stay as well as sweets in the Wshop! i was looking forward to her restaurant, but mayor is just too much. i would be fine with someone more responsible like ms. cowoline, tabby, or ms. birdy, but other than that i disapprove of having a mayor.
