How to Change Your Monitor’s Resolution

In order to get the most out of your Webkinz World experience, you will need to make sure your screen resolution is set to a minimum of 1024×768. If you need assistance with changing your resolution, we have instructions for the most common operating systems you may use.

 

Windows XP

  • Right-click on your Desktop and click Properties, OR go to your Control Panel and select Display
  • Click on the Settings tab
  • Move the slider until 1024×768 (or higher) is selected.
  • Click Apply so you can see how your screen will look. If you’re happy, click YES; if not, click NO and select a different resolution.
  • When you are satisfied, click OK.

 

Windows Vista

  • Click the Start button
  • Click Control Panel
  • Click Appearance and Personalization
  • Click Personalization
  • Click Display Settings
  • Move the slider under Resolution to show at least 1024×768, and then click Apply.

 

Windows 7

  • Click the Start button
  • Click Control Panel
  • Click Adjust screen resolution under Appearance and Personalization
  • Click the drop-down list next to Resolution to move the slider to at least 1024×768 and then click Apply.
  • Click Keep if you are happy with the size, or Revert to back to your original resolution.

 

Windows 8

  • Point your mouse to the lower right corner of the screen, or swipe in from the right
  • Tap or click Settings
  • Tap or click Change PC settings
  • Tap or click PC and devices
  • Tap or click Display
  • Tap or click the slider and drag it until it says at least 1024×768
  • Tap or click Apply to save the settings.

 

Windows 10

  • Go to your Desktop, right-click your mouse and go to Display Settings
  • From the Settings window, select Display and then scroll down this window and click on Advanced Display Settings
  • From the available options in the drop-down menu, select one that is at least 1024×768
  • Click Apply to save

 

 

Mac OS X

  • Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences
  • Click Display and then Scaled
  • Select at least 1024×768

    I am having trouble fixing the actual size of the game itself. It has been fitting fine on my mac screen but there was a small menu that popped up and before I could click anything my screen shifted closer and to the right. I am unable to see my dock or my logout menu.

    How do you Change the resolution in Windows 10. my screen fits top to bottom, but not left to right. Also my games are very tiny.
