With any sparking, it first checks to see if you get a redemption pet, then it's 50-50 chance. So the only way to improve your odds for a specific pet would be to spark two of the same.

Sally Webkinz, these are awesome! Congrats to all of the featured new Next parents! I am not currently working toward anything, but I am growing up a timber wolf baby and a violet velvet elephant kid and looking forward to hopefully starting two new family lines. I am also saving up for a dragon. If I spark a dragon with another pet, is there any trick to improving my chances of getting a dragon baby? I would be crushed to have only one old lonely dragon. I always feel bad whenever I look at my Teacup Yorkie and my Pinktastic Lion and always hope to be lucky enough to win extra spark sodas. Everyone needs their own little tribe, no matter how small.

If the next spark party is going to be on Valentine’s Day, I hope there will be a special holiday spark pool for the month of February, or at least a Valentine themed pet.
