Some years later I adopted a Tawny Puppy, and now had 2 gift boxes, and got the same error message. I contacted Customer Support, and they put the Tawny Puppy Item and Food into my dock, and removed both gift boxes. I think you should send Customer Support an email to ask them to fix the glitch.
