I am sorry but I agree with bobme248, the change to the mines make it so much HARDER to find the gems, and you have to go up to every rock in order to find out if you can dig or not. So I really doubt “they udpated it so it is EASIER to see”, and I have read a couple of comments who criticize precisely this, and I have not met anyone who actually finds it EASIER the way it is now. I keep asking myself anyway, why on earth do they think it is necessary to change things that were absolutely fine, while there are SO many other things on Next that still need attention. And with every update, there are more glitches that need to be fixed that were not there before. Changing the colours in the mines seems to be their favourite pastime, but this time I think it was the worst change. I am just glad they changed triple strike solitaire back to an acceptable amount of stars, and that diner dice is better visible again.

I usually feed them cake, you can buy it at the Farmer’s market or make cake on the stove.

Beware the rocks with white gems are a little greyish than the slag ones.

You can search your dock or the W Shop for dessert and it will show the items that are considered dessert

Next pets have recently been requesting a ‘dessert’ to eat. The two dessert type foods don’t satisfy them. Is it something we have to make on a stove? Please advise. Thank you.

Sorry to hear. They updated it so it is easier to see the rocks like with the blue it is a deep color and you can see from a ways away as well as the other colors like red. green etc. Though they made all the stones that you can’t mine white but there are also white stones you Can mine so you can’t tell which are ones you can or can’t mine unless you are right next to them.

Unrelated but I really dislike the changes made to the mines. As someone with an inner ear problem (motion sickness) I try to avoid using the closeup view as much as possible. Prior to the update I could generally scout out the rocks with gems – but now I have to be almost on top of them and turning my pet often results in other objects suddenly appearing in the view. It’s take an enjoyable task into one that I dread.

I fully agree, I dislike when I cannot choose if an item is outdoor or indoor. I love items that give me full range of creativity.

I’m glad it’s indoor and outdoor. I don’t like it when I can’t decorate as I see fit.
