I have a fall 1st place ribbon, I never knew I won a Crop Contest before.

You mostly need to just get lucky based on what the other players are entering in the contest versus what you enter. One thing that I do is check the weights of my competition crops against the ribbon winners of the day. If they are not even close, I enter them so I can get the 50 KC and not have them sitting in my dock. I only hold on to the veggies that could be a true contender for a ribbon. If I’m feeling lucky I will enter one of those. I only ever won a third place ribbon once. I was shocked. Good luck to you!

The best that I have earned so far is third place and I think it comes down to luck. The time that I entered was on a day when there was a break between seasons and I managed to win a ribbon with a decently large crop. I only think that I won that day because quite of people were not playing that day.
