This super simple ornament comes from our archives!
What you need:

- Small or medium-sized foam balls
- Small straight pins
- Sequins (small or medium sized)
What you do:
- Push the straight pins through the hole in the sequin.
- Push the pin into the foam ball.
- Continue adding pins and sequins all over the foam ball until it’s completely covered.
- Stick an ornament hanger into the foam ball if you want to hang it up.
- Otherwise, arrange the glittery ornaments in a bowl for all to admire!
This craft is good for older kids and grown ups!

Ah, cute! If I recall correctly, I made one of these when I was younger (kinda strange that younger me was fiddling with pins, but hey, I don’t think so hurt myself XD).
These are very pretty, I do not have foam balls or sequences, but I think I might use things I have to make unique ornaments. I have this bucket of things I can reuse, and bunch of random stuff. So when I want to make something, I have random inspiration and stuff to make it out of. ( it is always being filled and used.)
Hmm…I like the look of these, but I don’t use Styrofoam (kind of a “thing” with me, lol). What would make a good substitute for the foam? I suppose I could make a ball out of fabric and then sew the decorations on, but that’s a lot more complicated. Hmm. Any suggestions?
You could make a ball out of fabric and still use the straight pins and sequins. the pins would stay in fine just like a pin cushion.

Take a LARGE tin of cinnimon and mix it with equal parts of applesauce. Mix into a dough and rool ot out. Cut cookie cutter shapes leaving a small hole at the top for yarn . After cut bake till a golden color. Hang ;ole gingerbread men on tre . These will make the house smell awesome !

tinygma, this is a great idea!! I’m going to do this with my grand-children this Saturday. I love the smell of cinnamon and the smells of cookies baking, so this will be wonderful in so many ways!!
I forgot about one thing, I just hope my dog doesn’t eat them all.
Theese are apple sauce ans cinnimom . Call ask your vet . These would not hurt us but it is a lot of cinnimon.

yes but they end up very crisp when done .
You don’t actually have to bake them. Baking them dries them faster for hanging, but I’ve done these several times with my kids and we just air dry them and they come out perfect, but they take at least 24 hours or more to dry (depending on how thick you roll them out).
