This post was really inspirational for me, i’ve been doing crochet for a couple of years now and seeing a Zangoz hat inspired me to try and make all of the Zingoz & Zangoz as amigurumis (stuffed crocheted creatures). I started making Zangoz yesterday and have almost finished him (he is just missing a mouth) next up is either Wacky or the Zingoz in a ball from Zingoz Bounce. thanks so much 13c for the inspiration!

Aw, I know how you feel, Taffy! XD The first time I tried crocheting I had no idea what was what. The loops were so confusing and looked practically invisible to me then. You should look up a YouTube video that shows how to do it up close! It’s just kind of annoying figuring out how to hold it at first, but you get used to it after a while. You should try to learn how to “single crochet” from videos and then you could do those crocheted animals! =] (For the most part, anyway. You’d probably have to look up the abbreviations online. =P Inc = Increase; means increasing the amount of stitches to your row. Dec = Decrease; means decreasing the amount of stitches in your row. There’s also sc = single crochet and dc = double crochet. There are a lot of stitches, such as hdc = half-double crochet and tc = triplecrochet, and A LOT more. But single crocheting is the basic stitch. Increasing is easy once you figure out how to single crochet, cause all you do is put another single crochet stitch in the same stitch… if that makes any sense whatsoever.. XD Sorry for this long-winded post, I can’t really help myself sometimes. XD)
