I just got my first one, and my pet doesn't appear to actually sleep in it. She looks like she is sleeping—she is curled up on the bed and going "zzz"—but her care heart doesn't fill, her picture next to her care heart doesn't go to sleep, and her stats don't drop like they would if she were asleep. In fact, her stats react like she is awake. The bed has been out for a few months, so you may already know, but I just thought I would say something.
