Thanks for the info @kalcan8 – I had a feeling that it might be that. I had hoped that regardless of growth status you could send babies and kids to daycare – I’ve really just started on Next (not sure if it’s just me or if they’ve tweaked the game so that I don’t get quite as motion sick from the movement – being able to zoom out really helps). At the moment there is no incentive to grow the babies as I can rack up more points on the daily activities that the one time weekly one and I’ve not quite accumulated enough diamonds to add new parents and babies!

Hi @bobme248. I’m not sure about your first and second question, but for the babies or kids, they have to have growth moments left to be able to go to Day care. Going to day care raises your growth meter one point. I think it now works with kids too, but I haven’t tested that yet for Week 4. You may have to spark a new baby, or grow up a baby to a kid so you have lots of room on your growth meter. I will check to see if it works with kids and get back to you, or someone else can weigh in with that info. Good luck!

oh for pete’s sake. Thanks, though, that did work for today, although I had to try multiple times to align the planets of friend online and friend with baby, and it doesn’t make up for the points I missed yesterday. sheesh, please just fix it already, this is awful.

I use a Mac desktop: 1) on the sign in page there is a notice in red “DEBUG SERVER CALLS”, 2) I can’t visit a friend’s house unless the friend is online (not sure if this is how it works, and 3) I can’t find the “send to day care button” all the babies have full growth meters if that matters. Thanks!

Since the update, I can’t visit houses to borrow their babies. I have now tried and/or had it tried for me — on three different devices. Computers updated, even restarted. Phone won’t do it either. Loading line goes to about halfway across the bar, then freezes. GAH I AM 10 points short of a prize tier, plus just in general having a gap and missing those points on the daily points instead of all 5 being checked off for the day. And okay at least this time it didn’t blow up so hard it uninstalled itself, but this is still not good.
