I am new to webkinz and how can I find receipes that don’t turn to glop?

  3. supermousecomputer says:

Hydromoscone looks good. so do the foods that make Hydromoscone!

I do wonder about the boost from different foods, particularly from our gardens. Cabbage is 22 points, but most other grown foods are 2 to 5 points.

I find that it varies from pet to pet. Some of mine love bananas and some don’t. Also there are some things that all of them don’t like at all. It’s hard to keep track, so when I find something most of them don’t care for and can’t use it to make something out of it, like Christmas tree pop or red peppers, I just sell it back and get something they like.

That’s so true, my pets do not like the health food drink! But they love their farm fresh veggies, should I make w/store bought instead?

        • megamom12 says:

No, it doesn’t matter if it’s W-Shop or Farm, the Health Food Drink just doesn’t go over well for some reason. Even the bunnies! On the other hand, the Icy Frosty made with the Garden Fresh Watermelon goes over big across the board. I can’t say as I blame them for that one!

ive just discovered by reading somewhere in my pets adoption papers that my black bear loves pancakes and my wolf loves spaghetti. when i feed them those they get a huge boost! it also says what game they like (that you can buy in the wshop) and who their friend is (like spotted frog or cocoa dino etc.)

This is a fun one to do when I’m hanging out at Daisy’s place. As long as I have some Ocean Bubblyglub handy because she doesn’t have a blender (or sandwich maker) to make that one. The next ‘cooking day’ that I have, I think that I will concentrate on Blender and Sandwich Maker items so that they are ready to go the next time I’m doing an event where I hang out at Daisy’s.

    This looks so yummy! :D

Thanks Ganz! Okay, here is the stuff that I would want to know, so I thought that I would share – Aquarus Jelly (stove) (hunger boost +25): asparagus, fish sticks, jelly; Ocean Bubblygrub (blender) (hunger boost +5 – seriously!): apple juice, root beer, sushi; SS Blueberry Bounty (stove) (hunger boost +30): blueberry cheesecake, jelly, peach. Put them all together on Daisy’s Diner’s Super Chef Stove to yield Hydromoscone (hunger boost +20 – so except for the collector purposes, why?!?) Hope this was helpful!

    • Beckinz8 says:

My favorites to make would be: Fish and Chips dinner (stove) because it is straightforward and gives a big hunger boost (+50); Epochiquox Glimmer (blender) and Turretango Twist (stove) because they are too beautiful to eat!; and Fancy Schmancy Waffles (sandwich maker) because they are straightforward, beautiful, give a decent hunger boost (+36) and I would eat them in real life. :-D

      • megamom12 says:

The Icy Frosty (blender) is another one that I would really have and it has a wonderful hunger boost no matter what pet it is.

        • Beckinz8 says:

Thanks @megamom12! Running off to make it to check out the hunger boost. Brb…

          • Beckinz8 says:

Okay, not bad. I got +32. Are the black specks supposed to be the watermelon seeds? This may sound weird, but while I like watermelon the fruit irl, I can’t eat artificially flavored watermelon foods, and I can’t even smell them if someone else is eating them. It gives me a migraine. My family members need to chew their watermelon gum, and enjoy their watermelon lollipops when I am not home!

      • string says:

Never heard of Epochiquox Glimmer. What is that? I do make Fancy Shmancy Waffles, they are a big hit at our Kinzville House!

      • Beckinz8 says:

You know, I remember a few years back when they recalculated hunger boosts on the foods to “make them more realistic”. I have a suggestion for recalculating hunger boosts: please consider making recipe foods equal to the total of the sums of the boosts from the individual ingredients. That might encourage more people to make the more labour intensive Super Chef recipes. Based on combining the three recipe foods above, the Hydromoscone should give a boost of +60. “Food” for thought. ;-)
