This same thing has been happening to me, too, for many years. Some days I get the 2 free acorns, some days I don’t. I have been unable to figure out why. Getting the free acorns over the whole month adds 60 acorns, more than enough to collect all the items one time through. It’s a great perk of being Deluxe, but it is hit-or-miss as to whether you actually receive them.

Please either actually award the promised free acorns per day, (1 for regular members and 2 for deluxe members.) or stop advertising that they’re to be awarded. I am and have been a deluxe member for many years and have participated in most of the collection events. However, for the past several collection events, I have only been awarded the 2 free acorns/items per day on the very first day that I start my collection. So instead of receiving 2 free per day, I only receive 2 total for the entire time it takes to collect 50 and complete the collection. I am sure I am not the only person frustrated with this glitch and would like to see a fix, (hopefully) before the acorn collection is over, but at least before any other collection event starts. Thank you for addressing this issue.

Such a beautiful furniture collection! Love it. Thanks to all my friends who faithfully send me acorns, I’ve already won the Grand Prize, and it’s gorgeous. (I’m partial to anything with books, too, so this piece is a real favorite.) I love that gray chair, too–and the little purple pillow is so sweet.
