I have 3 of the real dogs at home. This aussie here is a blue merle. I have a blue merle a red tri and a collie blue merle mix. they are herding dog and are VERY VERY VERY smart. My red tri can open a door and a baby gate.the collie aussie mix is a great soccer goalie (like the movie air buddy). the blue merle is great at tricks she can learn a trick in less than 5 minutes. They are all girls the oldest is the blue merle she is almost 15 the collie mix is 6 the red tri i got for my birthday and she is 2. They got the name Australian Shepherd because of shepherds from Australia they come from collies. THEY ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY FAVORITE DOGS EVER!!!!
