That is SO true about pricing. The e-store is getting out of hand. It’s like the plushies – WHY so expensive? I haven’t bought one in years because they are more than a week’s groceries (exchange rate for CANADIANS on a CANADIAN game). We amassed almost 200 when they were affordable – is it really worth it to Ganz to sell them for more when less are buying? Why do companies do this? It’s not in the numbers to do so. Not to mention how difficult they are to get anymore – I liked IN STORE shopping for them. I don’t know, Ganz isn’t thinking about their consumers just their profits and they need to go back to what made them great, making customers HAPPY.

This is what I am worried about too, is this the new normal in webkinz? Extreme limiting of how many prizes we can win? That just makes a game less fun and angers players. I will never again fill a jar of moonberries but they sell the seeds in the estore, so maybe they just want everyone to have to pay way too much for them. I would buy these things if they were priced fairly. A packet of pixel seeds should not cost more than a real world dinner.

Berry Fest used to be a favorite event of mine. The opportunity to collect many floating berries to help fill berry jars in Jumble Berry Fields. This really helped for the players that are not very good at the game. It can be difficult to receive a moonberry it takes so long to fill this jar. Now this opportunity has been eliminated. Is this a sign of the future on Webkinz that things are no longer going to be available??? I look forward to eating the Goo-Goo Berries and Polarberries that I receive. Now the daily limit of floating berries players can receive has been decreased! :( The prizes this year are great especially the Berry Patch Beds and Gumball Seeds. The Berry Cereal boxes are cute so nice that they can be rotated. Thank you for increasing the floating berry limited from 2 a day for full players up to 4 per day.

One more day, I am so EXCITED for this event!! Goo Berry events are probably my favorite kind of event. Either that or the floating “W” events that let you collect seeds!

@jsforfr- I agree! I’ve been wishing for YEARS that they would just STOP some of these random gift games/floating whatever, and just put the items in the WShop for KinzCash! NOT Deluxe/eStore Points! I don’t understand the fascination with so many “games of chance”. I enjoy actually “playing” on Webkinz, and not having to do challenges with so many “steps” in each level, catching Floating things (which are usually SO SLOW), or being told, usually too late to do anything about it, that certain items are going to be “retired”. Why do VIRTUAL items NEED to be “RETIRED”? Just add them to the WShop for us to buy for REASONABLE KinzCash! Oh, well….I think I’m just shouting into the wind! Ha! Gonna go get on my accounts and see if I get lucky today. Maybe I’ll get at least ONE Pineapple seed package. The Odds really AREN’T in my favor. :-/

I was very lucky and received one pineapple seed yesterday but I agree. I hope they will have a future event with a much smaller prize pool, that includes these new pineapple seeds. I wish they would just add the seeds into the store, so we could buy which ever ones we want.

I know, it was the only way I ever made decent progress on moonberries. It’s been bad enough how much less we have been getting the regular berries over the years but now, nothing. I can forget ever filling a moonberry jar again, bad enough it was taking me years.

This is very sad to see how limited they have made this event. I hope this is not a preview into what they plan for all future events. It was bad enough when they capped how many we could win in events like winterfest, fallfest but giving free accounts only 1 of each and even people paying $45 a year for deluxe are only getting 3 of each is ridiculous, very disappointing.

I received one from a berry I saved last year and no it’s not a dispenser but a fridge. It hold 9 pieces of food, so it can hold the gumballs you harvest from the seeds… if you can manage to win both.
