Star Challenge can be frustrating! There are a few tricks to it though! If you look closely you can see the constellations before you click! I find that I find the most stars with the Zingoz, Plumpy, Wishing Well, and Ribbon constellations! I hope this tip helps you find more stars!

I too only get 3 ‘misses’ . Since I have so many of the spacesuit pieces that Alyssa gives us for the shooting star, I stopped clicking on the shooting star so I got an extra try to collect a star, but still just get ‘misses’ . I would like to see them change the prizes in this ‘game’ as well as make it possible to actually collect a star on a more regular basis! *crosses her fingers and makes a wish*

Hey Beckinz8 thank you so much for taking the time to type all of that out to try to help me. Sooo for the wish tokens I have timed it in the past and I have waited as long as 4 minutes for a token to register!! , but now it just totally freezes my computer. Sometimes I could get things to work by using my touch screen instead of mouse but even that doesn’t work anymore. As for the Fairy Mines I have tried everything. I am very computer literate and have done the clearing my cache etc etc . I have even rebooted my laptop and then restarted Webkinz so it is a fresh start and that doesn’t work. I have tried choosing different paths with no success. I was truly hopeful that when Flash went and we had to use the ‘new desktop app’ (NOT the new Webkinz known as Webkinz Next) that it would fix things but that didn’t work for me. Colour me disappointed and frustrated. Thanks again Beckinz8 for trying to help me.

I often skip Alyssa’s Star Challenge for that same reason. I “Miss” way more than I actually find a star so it is statistically a waste of my time. If there are pointers/tip/tricks on how to improve your chances of finding a star, I would be so grateful if a staff member or player would share that info with the rest of us.

As for the Wish Factory token dilemma, I have noticed that if I deposit tokens on my side account, which is new and much smaller, the tokens go into the machine with little or no waiting. My main account has over 50 pets, and an extremely full and cluttered dock, and each token takes a full 30 seconds to deposit. So I will put in a set amount (maybe 5) and come over here to WKN to read the articles and comments while I wait, checking back from time to time. 2 1/2 minutes later that set will be done, and I can decide if I want to try for some more or if I’ve had enough for the day. So, technically it still works, but just requires a LOT of patience. If I ever get my dock under control, and I find that it makes a difference in token deposit time, I will find a way to let you know. I hope that you are able to get these areas of the game to work again for you, and that maybe my experiences can offer a little help and hope. Take care my friend!

Hi @Katz1259. I don’t know about all of the technical stuff, like what system are you running, etc., but I do know that Magic Mire has been super slow for me for a couple of years. I know that if I wait it out it will eventually have a pop up window that tells me that a script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. (Isn’t Flash gone?!?) If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? It gives me a choice of “Okay” or “Cancel”. I always hit “Cancel” and after even more waiting it eventually enables me to access any one of the four paths that I choose. Now here’s the extra frustrating part – if I find a charm, that really jams things up, and I will often get one or more of the same message listed above before it will display the charm that I got, and then finally allow me to move on. I have the same problem if I find a charm in Fairy Falls, and that has been going on for a long time. I used to just use my Things To Do menu to go somewhere else, because I know I won the charm, and since I have already completed the collection and won the prizes, I don’t need to see it again. But skipping it and not allowing it to display has it’s own problem. Whatever activity I do next, I am missing my on-screen cursor. It just disappears. Try doing questions at Quizzy’s when you can’t see where your cursor is, so you are just blind-clicking and hoping that you are in the right position to select the correct answer! The cursor comes back after it has an opportunity to frustrate you for one activity, so now if I find a charm, I just sit and wait for it to display. Or I skip the Magic Forest all-together if I’m short on time and patience.

Whoo, finally! Ganz answered my silent prayers and decided not to give plays of Alyssa on multiple days — a wish I wished for, because, you know, even free players get to play it every day! Even as a deluxe player, some of the Zum, Woodland, Falls, and Mire prizes are very hard to come by.
