I fed my pet 6 of the bottles and only got tiles :( I didn’t even know that was a prize. I thought only the ones listed would be given.

Hello Everyone..I love Fall Fest too and the prizes are amazing; I can’t wait for the Halloween theme to come out. My favourites by far are the seeds…any seeds that produce food items are wonderful. It would be great if once the food items were harvested and fed to our pets that there could be a chance to get another item (kind of the feeding wacky foods to get fridges). I’m still thrilled about the quality of the prizes…Happy Fall Fest!

Hi kalcan8 – oh my, yes! Corn husk dolls have probably been around as long as humans have grown and harvested corn and maize. The dried husks, and corncobs, too, have always been a fall season crafting medium, especially when you have such an abundance of them at harvest. Historically, Perhaps they were fashioned as good luck charms or amulets and evolving into children’s playthings using the materials on hand – much like people my age enjoyed paper dolls. Today, they are an authentic folk art – take the time to look on Etsy and you will be amazed at so many intricate designs. Dried husks are very tough and last a long time so they would last a very long time – have seen some in museums. :-)

Yes corn husk dolls are a real thing. There is all kinds of different ones. Look them up and maybe make your own too.

They are actually! We learned about them in school Native Americans would make them out of dry husks for children

@kalcan8 – Yes, the corn husk dolls are a real thing! I’ve made some small ones before. Back in the old days, people grew gardens and would grow corn. When they would pick and shuck the corn, they would dry the husk (like of like outer leaves of the corn), and would make dolls out of them for children. Many people were very poor back then and could not afford to buy nice dolls for their children. People who craft often make them to sell at craft fairs or to sell on online shops.
