Wish they would have sent emails out giving heads up prior to all this because not everyone just curiously checks Webkinz website for news. Build a bear did similar thing to me and I had so much money and credits still in that account they didn't even reimburse me for. I had over 100 Webkinz tags in that one account. I am very disappointed and regret purchasing that many just to have their existence wiped away. I also tried to recover my OG account but it was already passed the 7 year mark.
