If they had enough Any Pet Medallions to adopt the pet, they were welcome to use them to adopt this pet early. Everyone will be receiving enough Medallions to adopt this pet on Webkinz Day, but it's been in the Medallion pet list since the last update.

I understand we are getting a free 20 yr Tiger in our Webkinz day gift box. Someone has already adopted the 20 yr Tiger (I don’t know how). I was playing Crafty Canaries today and the high scorer was Wade the 20 yr Tiger. I feel like I was dishonored because they got the Tiger and we haven’t yet. Getting the free pet is an Honor for all of us as we get the pet at the same time. Ganz you should put a freeze on this pet so this won’t happen again until Webkinz Day. This person is being very selfish to brag about being the 1st person to adopt the 20 yr Tiger. You ruined my day !!!!
