When and where do we submit our bird watching info? Is it just a number or can we add details (how many of each bird type, location, date spotted, etc)?

My understanding is that we count every bird we see that has the purple “Found One” badge next to it. It won’t be in the ads on the side — it’s just in the articles. And they don’t have one every day. It seems like every two or three days. If you start with the bird in this article and go backward looking at each article, you can start counting. It’s not really tricky or hiding. You can clearly see it (along with the purple “Found It” badge in any article it’s in.

I hope I’m understanding this. I saw the canary twice in two different ads. Do I count him twice or just once? Is it only one type of bird we count once even if we see it in another ad on another day? I hope I make sense. Thanks, Ajoy65 :)

Ok so I’m a little confused. Do we get something when we find them or are we just supposed to keep track of the number we found to post at the end?

Usually at the end of an article (like the blue jay at the end of this article), but not every article has one.

It’s a running total–they add up. But no birds appeared before June 1, so any marked birds from then until the end of the contest count.
