The pets give a lot of requests, but very few of them are linked to filling their hearts. The ones that you can say "not now" or add time to are the ones that fill the heart. If it says it's hungry, just ignore it. I believe it's the green baby requests that help it grow, but not the pink ones. It is a lot harder to fill hearts in Next than in Webkinz.

Also when you go all the way back to the room to decorate a room with X item, and when you get there, the item will not place, no matter what, while the timer just drains on down. Item just stays on the green shadow it makes. Sure, if you log out and back in, the item will usually go properly in the room then -- but that's too late, and totally useless towards the long gone request.

Kind of off topic, but does anyone else have issues with pet requests in Next. It happens way too frequently that a pet makes a request, I fulfill the request and DO NOT get credit for it. It happens with the baby pet requests as well. Too many pet requests gets on my nerves regardless, but when you do it and don't get credit for having done it, it takes the frustration to a whole new level.
