Are you up for the challenge? You’ll find the Party Time theme on sale in the W Shop right now. Create a room design using at least three pieces from the Party Time theme for a chance to win 1 of 5 Monarch ?? Boxes, courtesy of Ganz eStore! No restrictions on room size or type, and you can use whatever other items you like in the room.
Limit of one entry per GanzWorld account. Entries will be judged on creativity and originality. Contest closes on June 30, 11:59pm EST.
First time entering on of these, and I’ve played Webkinz since 2008!
I have a couple of questions for you guys. Do these entries also allow us to get a chance for us to have our room featured for Room Designs in which they become a potential Room Design tropy finalists? Or is there something seperate I need to submit to, and if so, would it be okay to submit a different room?
I think that the entries to these contests are separate from the Room Design contest (where you have a chance to receive a trophy). When submitting for the Room Design contest, you can submit the room that you entered in for this contest as well as other room designs that you might have created. I hope this helps you out.
umm webkinz my first entry i didn’t realize it was it was too big i’m just saying this so when i resend i’m not trying to enter twice
I think that they will understand. Usually when you enter a photo that is too large, it won’t count as a submission. That way, when you are able to submit an entry that is not too large, it will count as your submission for your account. I hope this helps you out!
I’m really excited about entering my first contest! I haven’t played Webkinz in a while but I just started back and I love it! This game brings back so many memories. I’m trying to submit it now but it is taking it a while so I can make sure it is the right size to submit.
I am having trouble uploading my screenshot. I am using a mac computer and I keep resizing it but I feel like it will cut a lot out to get it to the right size to submit. Please help, what should I do?
Have you tried going to tools when you open the picture on your computer? There should be an option that says “adjust size”. I had the same problem and that’s how I got around it. That way you are not cropping anything important from the photo. Also, how are you screenshotting it? Are you pressing the camera button that appears on the top of the Webkinz room screen next to the house map? I hope you see this and that it helps.
When I entered my first contest, I also had problems with uploading my screenshot. However, through experimentation, I was able to upload my images through the following tips. When this contest mentions that your photo has to be under 200k, they mean 200 KB. This can be done by resizing your image on Paint (my first entry was 700 x 523 pixels). Also, I was able to submit my image through Photoshop. All you need to do is re-save your image and adjust the quality of your image. The quality of “5″ usually reduces the image down to just below 200k. Regardless of what program you use, though, cropping the image to cut out the excess parts that are not a part of your room design (blue background) helps reduce down the size of your image. I really hope that this helps.

I need help with my submission. I took a screenshot of my room design and I put so much effort into it, even dressed my pets in their fanciest clothes, and decorated as best as possible but it won’t let me send it in! Please help I need advice on how to send it in. :(
I feel like if I was just able to send it in, I would have a real chance at winning, so please help me.
You may need to use a photo editing application to resize the image. Either crop out everything that isn’t the room, or try resizing to no wider than 1000 pixels.
Okay, I’m nervous that it takes away the quality but thank you! I’m going to try that.
Update: when I cropped my screenshot it said it was 692K and the limit is 1,000k but it still didn’t let me post it. :(
I hope I win! I worked hard to make a cool room design, I even dress my pets to look like they were going to a party. I really hope I win, I’m so excited to see who wins.
