Anyway I’m pretty sure that yams would work for this recipe as well. I think they may be a little less sweet either that or more likely they’re less stringy than sweet potatoes. All I know is that my mom has always gotten yams and contrary to what some people think there is a difference I just can’t remember exactly what it was.

sounds good my mom has made something like this but she uses sweet potatoes with olive oil and then puts a tiny bit of brown sugar on them it is sooooo good but not as healthy :( :)

They’re actually really good. And so are sweet potato fries. I’d take sweet potato fries over normal fries any day.
