Yes I do Salley! I even do it myself! Reusing water bottles saves water
did you know the garbage in a landfill stays for about 30 years? Thats a long time! in 1995 over 200 of the world landfills were full. Each person throws away approximately four pounds of garbage every day? One bus carries as many people as 40 cars!
More than 1/3 of all energy is used by people at home
Most families throw away about 88 pounds of plastic every year
We each use about 12,000 gallons of water every year :) Hope you like my facts!

I really like to drink out of a straw, but doing that creates a lot of waste, especially if you use one with every drink. I didn’t even know glass straws existed, but we ordered a few for my house, and now I can feel fine about using straws. There is a special thin brush you use to clean it out, and you can re-use it all the time. You just have to be careful not to drop it!

I love to recycle old greeting cards. I make small boxes out of them. They can be used for a bunch of different things. I also use cereal boxes to hold larger items.

That’s wonderful!!! My mom takes all the scrap paper and recycles them ALL the time. and we recycle old bottles and cans and stuff. cardboard, paper, bottles, and cans ALL go to the recycling center!!!

i have a tip! first, save your old plastic spring water bottles. then, put some bright colored construction paper around the bottle. then draw little doodles on it and put on stickers if you want. and you can decorate the cap with sharpie too! :)
