Actually, the fact that you get colds from well, being cold is a myth. Colds are generally caused by the passing of germs from one person to another, and we spend a lot more time inside together in the winter, so that’s why we get them more often then.

Aww. I hope you get better soon. Only two weeks ago I catched a cold and missed a birthday party. :(
My Dad has cold now and last week, most of the people at school stayed home. Even our teacher was feeling off-colour!
I know it`s a big blow but it`s best that you stay home. Your cold can get worse if you go to the party…unless you feel a little better. :)
