Good for you Sparky! I know how to do the frog paddle (forgot its name), backstroke, freestyle, and doggy paddle, but I’m really only good at the backstroke. I can swim small distances underwater, but not real far. I’m also scared of deep water (in this case, 4 ft+) Actually…I’m not exactly that good at backstroke because I instead usually do this stroke I made called the jellyfish…

aww…. too bad! I’ve had EVEN WORSE times than that, like getting bitten by baby jellyfish! it hurts like the dickens. I also have to hold my nose underwater, like cupcakecat, my sister. THE GREEN NINJA, OUT! PEACE!

Wow! that’s my first reply! thank u! Anyway, i don’t like swimming in oceans, but on occasion, i do, but get bitten by baby jellyfish. trust me, it hurts! maybe you can share tips? P.S add me in WW i’m Widgetwoo.

Wow! Sparky u must b a good swimmer! As 4 me, I’m not a good swimmer! I can go underwater and hold my breath. But, I can’t do backstrokes and swim like a pro I’m a beginner I can only do fast doggie paddles and float on my back! I can only go in the shallow end not deep end! In my camp, wen I used go 2 the Ardsely Country Club we would first do a swimming challenge which is wen u have 2 swim 2 the finish line by a certain time limit and if u pass u have 2 try and hold ur breath underwater in the deep end and if u pass u get a black and white bracelet but if u don’t pass the swimming challenge u get a yellow or orange bracelet. I was always a beginner not the best swimmer! :( But love 2 swim with my friends! :)

That’s cool krystalkat. The same thing happened 2 me yesterday. I was at a water park. I was doing this river/lifejacket thing at the water park. & my 15 year old brother grabbed on 2 my ankles & flipped me over & forgot 2 pull me out of the water again so I stayed there 4 30 seconds. When he finally pulled me out I was steaming mad @ him & was choking & coughing SO hard. So lesson is, STAY AWAY FROM BOYS! No offense boys here. $Strawberry_Starburst$

Wow Sparky, if I do the advanced strokes, I always end up with water up my nose even if I’m doing it right. So I always do the dog paddle when I swim.
