Yes gml1939 I totally understand. My son is just after the cusp so he is a Leo and I am just before a cusp in December so I am a Saggitarius. I don’t know why they couldn’t have made it easier for us to remember eh? Is it based on Greek Gods or Moon Phases or something? meh, to much thinking for me. I keep track of the ones that are important to me and don’t even try to remember the reet. But hey , keep a watch. Ganz often puts the entire sets on sale at one time. Such as right now , all of the birthstone pets are on sale. And I think it was between Christmas and New Year’s that they had the entire line of the horoscope pets on sale. Always best to buy them when on sale, right?!

Thanks katz1259, I do get confused between the Birthstones and the Zodiacs. Also I forget that the Zodiac changes around the 3rd week of a month. I have a daughter born Sept 23, and that is considered “on the cusp” just as it changes. Interesting but hard for me to remember.

There are 2 full lines of pets for birthdates. There is the gem/jewel line of the pet birthstones , ie emerald, ruby and they are all dogs. Then there is the horoscope pets which are the Bull for May/Taurus and Lion for Leo for late July/Aug . I have both pets for each month of a birthdate that is important to me. For instance, the 2 you have been talking about, my daughter was born in May so I have the Emerald Dog and I also have a Taurus Bull. My son was born in July so I have a Ruby Retriever and also Leo the Lion. So you can choose to collect one line or the other or both. Up to you! Enjoy!!
