It is disappointing that the butterflies don’t move like they do in some of the other gardens. Agreed.

I got one of these for my butterfly garden. It’s very pretty, but I’m a little sad that the butterflies don’t move. All the other butterflies in my garden flap their wings a little.

we are seeing a decline in Monarchs this year which is so sad! We released 167 monarchs last year after raising the caterpillars indoors due to parasitic wasps. This year we only found 7 caterpillars, but they do have 4 instars so I hope we see an increase! This is our family activity to give back to nature :)

OOOooo…that hedge is lovely! I like that it is short and subtle. I wouldn’t like it as much if it dwarfed everything and was too “in-your-face”. It reminds me a little bit of our butterfly bush in mid-summer. Hedges are supposed to be subtle accents that blend in well with the landscape, so excellent job designers!
