Okay! I have a theory that I desperately hope is true! Thought you might like to know beckinz! Maybe there’s no plush this month because they’re making two plushes next month? The valentine pets, those two cows, they would be absolutely perfect as plushes because they could be like best friend necklaces but better! And those cows are valentine pets! So releasing them as plushes in February would be the best option! I hope this theory is true… because if it is, it’s a very clever move by ganz! (But they Should’ve told us no pet this month)

So I just found a pretty good deal on a signature endangered cougar on Amazon, and it just arrived today. I haven’t picked a name yet, so I will need to wait before I adopt her. She is really soft and beautiful. I look forward to finding the perfect place for her in my room. I also look forward to designing a room for her in WW. Webkinz in plush form are the best of both worlds. I miss the unboxing videos and the sneak peeks, when we were all trying to guess what the newest Webkinz plush will be. I don’t want a virtual only Webkinz World. There is still no explanation about the absence of plush, and there has been no official announcement that I am aware of. I will keep posting here, just in case anyone with info happens to reply.

Thanks ~Reasonatingthunder. It helps to know that there are other people who have noticed and have missed the unveiling of a new plushie. No one else seems to be talking about it. Many people are making a big fuss over the current focus on the virtual signatures. I don’t want any of them, at least not if I can’t have them in plush. I have one signature – the white bengal tiger – that I found on Amazon for a pretty good price. Her name is Shira, and she sits on the shelf next to Diego, my sabertooth tiger, who of course sits next to Manny, my woolly mammoth. I haven’t even finished getting all the plushies for my Lord of the Rings characters (still looking for Frodo, and Pippin), or even my Harry Potter characters (still looking for the perfect Harry). Maybe my shelves will never be complete…

I keep checking back here in the hopes that there is some explanation as to the current state, and future of WW plushies. I love the plush, and they make up the majority of my collection. It’s always been so magical to have your physical webbie which you can enjoy in the real world, come to life and be able to interact with you in the virtual WW. That’s how I used to encourage friends to play WW. I would give them a plushie as a gift, and invite them to join me in WW. What am I supposed to do now – give prospective players a code?!? They will look at me like I’m crazy and toss it in the trash. I am disappointed and frustrated. It is only made worse by the wondering. If anyone has the ‘inside scoop’, please share with the rest of us.

Yes, ~dawnsdomain. I am still waiting. I had hoped we would receive some sort of announcement or at least a reply to these posts. I love the unboxing videos with Steve Webkinz. I don’t want to believe that I will now only be able to watch them in the archives. Please keep your fan base in the loop. Even when it’s bad news, we still need to know.

I have the same fear, and I wish they would make an official announcement either way to inform us. I adore them and will be heartbroken if they are done making plushies, but it’s better to know than be left hanging.
