Hello frankie98, so glad that you liked the items. I think that Turkey is the cutest thing ever. Ended up having to buy several cases of soda in order to get the truck. I have extras of most of the soda prizes so let me know if you are needing any of them. Went to my doctor and she was concerned that my resting heart rate was too low so she had me do an echocardiogram and a Holter monitor test. The echo came back okay; just waiting on the monitor one to come back now. So all of that has got me a little side tracked with my Webkinz playing. I am loving all of the fall fest prizes this year; love the fall season the best. Hope you and Mickey are doing well. Have a great week! Your friend blurayne.

Hi Blurayne. I hope you won’t mind me jumping in here. I thought I would share my own little adventure with my heart recently, just as a cautionary tale. I had been helping clear a fallen tree from our property on a Thursday with no problem. I’m slow but sturdy. lol but on the Sunday while walking across the back to pick up small pieces of debris, I was suddenly very winded. My quad and core muscles were screaming at me to STOP. I actually laughed to my husband, omgosh, this is ridiculous. I thought I would take a nap and feel better. He insisted on taking me to the emerg when we discovered that my heart rate was down in the low 30s. My BP was 106/47. They kept asking me if I had chest pain. None whatsoever. Just this crazy degree of windedness. They admitted me into the ICU and when I left five days later, I had a new piece of technology in my chest. The pacemaker is set to never let my heart rate drop below 50. I have resumed my walking but no weightlifting for another four weeks. I was lifting a 40-lb kettlebell and

Oh Traveller, I am so glad that you are okay; that sounds so scary. I am so glad that you went on to the hospital. Wow a 40 lb kettlebell? I use 15 lb handweights and a 10 lb kettlebell. I feel like a weakling. :) I also feel slightly winded sometimes but no chest pain. When my doc noticed my rate it was 58 a week later it was 53 and it was falling to 45 when I was sitting at my desk. I wear a fitbit so I keep pretty close watch on stuff like that. I set up the appointments and then my rate went back up to 58 so no telling if they will detect anything or not. My blood pressure was 125/88 when I went for the echo. Crazy thing was I went to the doc because my heart had spiked a few days over 180 while I was sitting down. She says I am very stressed/anxiety. But that doesnt explain the low rate. Definitely something to keep an eye on for sure.

I’m glad you are both doing okay. I hope your doctors and specialists will be able to find some answers to what you’re experiencing. In the meantime, please take care <3

Dear Blurayne and Traveller – I am so sorry to hear of your recent health scares – how frightening for you and your families. It is a blessing that you both have access to excellent medical care. Sending good thoughts, prayers, and hugs. alphacat

@blurayne Lyme disease is often the culprit in something like this (lyme carditis) but the bloodwork ruled that out. The cardiologist explained to me that the upper chamber and lower chamber of my heart had stopped communicating with each other. So the lower half was not getting the correct signals to pump the oxygen-carrying blood to my muscles and organs. It was pumping but way too slowly. Hence, my extreme windedness. Apparently, it is fairly common at a certain age. Ahem. LOL Not to give away person6l details3 but i was born in the late 50s. Just something for you to keep an eye on, especially since you have already experienced a low heart rate. PS I sound like Maria Sharapova when I lift the trap bar. OOOPHHHHHH lololololo I had to work over a year to get there.

Oh Traveller how scary! I’m so glad your husband was there and insisted you go to the Hospital! So happy you have a little regulator to keep that heart of yours staying normal. Please take good care of yourself and be careful not to do to much to quickly. Big Hugs and prayers Frankie98

@Frankie98 thank you for the well wishes. It was definitely a surprise. I live a pretty healthy life these days so it was unexpected. But I am taking care and my husband is all over me about not ignoring things now. :-)

Oh no blurayne so sorry to hear about your low heart rate. I am glad however that you have a doctor who is on top of things and getting everything checked out to make sure. Just take things easy and take care of yourself. I am praying that your Holter monitor test comes back all good like your echocardiogram:) Fall is my favorite time also! Mickey has been doing much better these days now that we finally have his meds figured out:) The vet gave him 6 to 9 months back in Feb when he first had his heart failure episode and I hope to prove him wrong> Sending virtual hugs your way:) Frankie

Dear blurayne – thank you so much for the surprise gift you sent this evening. It lifted my spirits so much – we are on our third day of constant rain and I mean constant – nothing heavy or damaging, but constant and more coming through Wednesday – blah. A gorgeous full double rainbow appeared while I was preparing dinner so that picked me up and then I logged on to answer any acorn messages and saw your gift. Thank you for being such a wonderful and amazing friend! There’s not been any takers on my spring clothing offers, so I think all the coupons you have sent me will work better if I wait until Wednesday and do another giveaway on the new clothes and room theme. So many new items coming – I love that new Halloween theme – we’re going to have a lot of fun with that! alphacat

Hello Alphacat, so glad that you liked the items! It has been very rainy and gray here too for the last couple of days. Sometimes I like that weather and sometimes not so much. Right now it is not so much. But tomorrow is the beginning of Fall and it is my favorite season; ready for the temperatures to drop to the 60s and 70s and stay there for awhile. I love rainbows; it has been quite awhile since I have seen one though. There were about 15 dragonflies in my backyard yesterday just swooping around catching bugs; they are the only bug that I like and I had never seen that many in one place before. I am sure a lot of people will be taking you up on your offer of the new clothing and that is so generous of you to offer. I know everyone loves it when you do the waterfalls giveaways, back when I played years ago the highest priced items was the backyard swimming pool and it did not give near as much money as those waterfalls do. Always love the fall activities in WW. Let me know if you need any other items

Hi all – I hope you all are seeing the floating Fall Tree Quilt Tile floating here on WKN – I guess it was accidently left out of the fall fest prize pool we now have an opportunity to get one per account every day til the end of the month :-) Also, these pages fill up so fast – did everyone see the message that Mabel3 posted last week about two codes that everyone can find and use? Click on the Scruffy Puppy and the Fall Super Mystery Bag – code prizes are FF Soda prizes from past years – thanks Mabel3 for the original message – I won some nice stuff! Cheers! alphacat

Thanks for the reminder about the Quilt Tile! It’s such a pretty one. I’m glad you were able to find and use the codes. I saw your message about your plans to do another giveaway. I’m happy to send some higher value coupons to help you with that. I’ve been able to check in more often these days (it’s been a crazy summer) but I don’t seem to have anything that anyone is looking for right now. I hope you have a great day and that the rain clouds lift a bit in your corner of the world. 3Mabel

Thanks so much for the coupons, Mabel3! I’ll buy a few more waterfalls to add to the giveaway. The rain clouds actually did lift for a couple hours this morning so I was able to get my bike out for some much needed exercise – that helps immensely – and then it rained again – lol. Have a great day! alphacat
