Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I try to check the forums ever few days; I miss you guys terribly. I fell down my stairs on the 23rd and now have a stage 3 ligament rupture and where it torn away from the bone it took a piece of bone with it, and I have deep tissue damage in my left shoulder. Going to be a long healing process; cant believe this happened right now. I hate not being able to get around like I want to. They have me in an aircast and a sling. I am still working, actually went to work to have the doc check me and worked 2 hours that same day. Everyone at work has been great they put a stool next to the desk so I could prop my foot up and keep me in ice bags. Hope everyone elses start to the new year has been better than this. Hi, @blurayne, I’m so very sorry to hear about your fall and that you sustained such serious injuries; my heart breaks that you’re having to go through all this, and, despite the expected timeframe for recovery, it’s my greatest wish and hope that your shoulder, foot, and any other areas that were injured heal as quickly as possible so that you can once more be pain free and return to a “sense of normalcy,” so to speak, in going about your everyday routine and just living life. If there is anything at all you need (items you’re looking for or past events that you may have missed or any upcoming ones you may miss), please let me know, and I’ll be more than happy to help wherever I can. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy and full recovery, and know that you are very missed here and thought of often. Dear blurayne – oh my goodness – I am so sorry to hear about your fall and the injuries you sustained from it and just before Christmas to boot. It’s wonderful to hear that you have such kind and compassionate coworkers to help you manage your job. Please post updates when you are able and – sending all my best wishes for a quick recovery. Oh my goodness blurayne! I am so sorry to hear about your fall down the stairs and your injuries:( I pray that you have a very speedy recovery and are back to normal soon. It’s nice to hear that your co workers sound like very caring people and helpful in whatever way possible. You are missed very much here on the forum and thought about often.
