Hi, all, and Happy Friday! Wanted to update you on my absence this week and apologize if I missed responding to any messages…I haven’t been feeling well for quite some time, but I suddenly developed a severe shortness of breath (ran out of breath just walking from my bedroom to the kitchen), some discomfort (feeling of pressure) around the breastbone area, and extreme weakness over the past couple of weeks. At first, I had thought it may be Covid symptoms, but no flu-like signs of the virus ever developed. When the shortness of breath persisted, I went to the ER early Tuesday morning to have tests run and hopefully pinpoint the problem. Turned out I had another pulmonary embolism (also had gone through this in 2015 with a far larger clot in my lung, of which some of you are already aware), so I’ve been in the hospital and was just released yesterday evening. Anyway, just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how very blessed and fortunate I feel to have this amazing Webkinz family and such truly wonderful friends as I’ve made here! Dear @roxy616 I am so sorry you had to go through such a scary ordeal. I was wondering why you were not sending hearts and was hoping you were just busy. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, @cardmaker22…that truly means a lot! And thank you, too, for your kind offer to help with things I may have missed. I was a little concerned that I may have missed some of the Cinnamon’s Chocolate Collection because I couldn’t remember whether it was a certain chocolate piece awarded each day ONLY on that day or whether you could just collect them at random throughout the time period leading up to Valentine’s Day. Thankfully, after I got home yesterday, I checked and found that I would still be able to collect them all in order to get the Grand Prize, so I’m really relieved about that. I don’t think there’s anything else, but I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness in checking! Left you messages regarding your Chcolate Shop room on the following page (1818) ~ Big Hugs, Roxy

Oh my, Roxy – how scary that must have been for you. I am so grateful that you recognized the symptoms you were experiencing and are able to get the medical care you need. Thank you so much for your well wishes, alphacat…I’m doing okay but still very weak and pretty tired because the very last place you can ever get any sleep is in a hospital lol! Aside from being directly across from the nurses’ station, they were in my room literally every hour, drawing blood to check my levels and adjust the Heparin (blood thinner) dosage on my I.V. My arms are nothing but a mass of dark bruises right now, but that’s a small price to pay, in the scheme of things. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and BIG HUGS BACK, dear friend! @alphaowlbear Hi Alphacat, thank you very much for the windows and hot air balloon, which are new items for me! The balloon and the rainbow slide you had given me and the rainbow coffee table Roxy616 had given me, are already in my new Rainbow Room. Hi cardmaker22 – I’m so glad you like the items :-) The Hot Air Balloon has always been a rare item in the Curio Shop even though it doesn’t belong to any theme. I just happened to be there this morning at the right time. I like those windows, too. Usually windows are all sunny day ones, so these are nice and different to use. Enjoy! Sometimes I get to rummaging my docks and find things that I have in multiples. Have a great afternoon! alphacat

Does anyone has an extra Toadstool Tea Set that they’d be willing to send? My luck was mostly in chairs and tables. My username is eskiboy on Classic. P.S. If you don’t want to, that’s fine. I’m betting there’ll be another tea party in our future. :)
