I have this pet! I got her last year at Christmas when all of the Christmas pets were on sale. I named her Candy Cane, after the candy cane patterns on her hooves and horn.

I think it’s because the minuscule amount of green clashes with the dominant amount of red. Most of the palette-swap pets look fine, but this one…just looks weird. (I like your not-in-the-dictionary description! Most of the best descriptions/words are not in the dictionary.) :)

Now that you mention it, they are pretty standing-out-ish. Well, conspicuous, if you want the “actually in the dictionary” version of what I just said. :P I can’t tell if it’s ’cause the green contrasts with the red, or if it’s because this is a literal palette swap of the other Peppermint-corn.

It is red (obviously) with red and white striped hooves, a red, white and green striped horn, a red and green mane and the inside of its ears and its eyes are green. :)
