They are unrelated. You can mine for gems or solve the Pirate's Bounty in any order.

I have a question, if you hunt for gems first, does that remove the chest, or can you go back in and try the chest?

I wrote down a list of all the gems by color, and type. I keep it with my webkinz stuff. Hope this helps.

You can use any mirror on the board, but not all of them can be rotated. There are sometimes more than one lock to unlock, so it's possible that you still had one to go.

I have found the treasure box twice, but don’t really understand the directions. Unlocked the box the second time, but nothing happened. Can you only use the mirrors on the far right? Hope a video is in the works. Thanks for any help.

I wish the collection gave the names of the rare and super rare gems, so that when you have to choose between multiple, you know which are the rare ones, instead of just having to guess.

it is not fair that we can not keep all the gems we find, we should not have to pick one only
