Sneak Peek: DIY Tie-Dye Event!

The DIY Tie-Dye event returns to Webkinz Classic on Thursday, May 1, and there will be one new clothing item available to dye!

During this event, look for floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye on your Webkinz Classic account, and click on them to add them to your Dock (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full and 4 for Deluxe players).

You can use your DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye to dye the DIY Dress, T-Shirt, Wig, Bow, Sneakers, and starting on May 1, the brand-new DIY Hat:

The new DIY Hat will be available in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop on May 1, and will remain in the WShop once this events ends at midnight, Thursday, May 8.

You’ll also find DIY Design Tickets in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:

Combine a bottle of DIY tie-dye, a piece of DIY clothing and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to make a special DIY gift box:

When you drag the DIY gift box into your pet’s room, you’ll win a common, uncommon or rare piece of DIY tie-dyed clothing!

Remember, bottles of DIY tie-dye will only work when you combine them with DIY clothing and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine. They do not work with the DIY furniture pieces or wall dividers.

You can only collect floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye during this event, but bottles of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye are always available in the WShop for eStore points. You’ll find them in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:

Combine a bottle of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye with a DIY Design Ticket and a piece of DIY clothing on the Clothing Machine to make a retro rainbow gift box that you can drag into your room for the chance to earn common, uncommon or rare tie-dyed clothing. Here’s a look at what you’ll be able to make:

Remember, the DIY clothing and Design Tickets are always available at the WShop. So, don’t feel like you have to use your tie-dye right away. They won’t expire once this event ends, so take your time, and enjoy trying to unlock rare pieces of tie-dyed clothing!

Look For New Prizes At The Spree Mall!

UPDATE: We are aware of the glitch with the DIY Cabinet. This will be fixed during our next update on February 12, then you will be able to use it to store your DIY dyes, tie-dyes and wall paint.

Three new prizes have been added to the game of Spree! The next time you make it to the mall, look for the brand-new DIY Cabinet, Purple Plush Couch and the Webkinz Parachute Glider.

The DIY Cabinet was designed to match the Creative Studio room theme from the WShop, and can be used to store DIY Design Tickets, dyes, tie-dyes and wall paint!

Play SPREE at the Games Arcade on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App, and use the credits you collect to trade for prizes when you make it to the mall!

Sneak Peek: DIY Tie-Dye Event – Aug. 13-21

The DIY Tie-Dye Event returns to Webkinz Classic from August 13 – 21, but we have already added a new premium bottle of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye to the DIY section of the WShop:

You can combine the new bottle of tie-dye with the DIY Wig, T-Shirt or Dress and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine to make gift boxes that you drag into your room to earn common, uncommon or rare pieces of tie-dyed clothing!

The Retro Rainbow Tie Dye will remain in the WShop once the DIY Tie-Dye Event ends, but you will only be able to collect bottles of DIY Rainbow Die-Dye during the event!

From August 13 – 21, look for floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye and click on them to add them to your Dock (limited to 3 a day for free players, 4 for full and 5 for Deluxe players).
