A new, 8 step challenge starts on June 1, and will run until midnight, August 31, on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App! Explore the Adventure Park as you complete quests, uncover prizes, and earn special Adventure Scout hats along the way. And don’t forget to check in with Scout Leader Sophie Stockwell at the Clubhouse every day to collect packs of Adventure Trail Mix that will fuel your little scouts on their summer adventure!

Here’s how to play: On June 1, look for the first Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge icon on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App. It will be displayed along the left side of your screen:

You can click on the icon to review your tasks. Here’s a look at the first three tasks you’ll need to complete the first step of your summer challenge:

• Feed your pet 2 packs of Adventure Trail Mix
• Spin the Wheel of WOW 2 times
• Buy an Adventure Scout Top at the KinzStyle Outlet

The amount of Adventure Trail Mix you’ll need to feed your pet will increase with each step of this challenge. So, be sure to collect some every day to complete your challenge faster.

There’s only one way to collect packs of Adventure Trail Mix this summer: Scout Leader Sophie Stockwell will be handing them out in the Adventure Scouts room at the Clubhouse! Visit Sophie every day at the Clubhouse, and click on her to collect Adventure Trail Mix:

The Adventure Scout Top, Shorts, Hat and Shoes are currently available to buy at the KinzStyle Outlet:

You’ll need to buy the Adventure Scout Top to complete the first step of the summer challenge. The top can be found on the first page of the TOPS section of the KinzStyle Outlet:

Once you complete the first step of the Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge, you’ll earn your first Adventure Pack and the Adventure Level 1 Hat! When you drag your Adventure Pack into your room, you’ll unlock a quest at the Adventure Park!

Every time you manage to complete a new step of the challenge, you’ll earn a new hat and a new Adventure Pack, until you unlock the Adventure Bravery Plaque by completing the final step of the challenge!

Remember, drag an Adventure Pack into your room to unlock your quest at the Adventure Park. You’ll need to complete the quest in order to advance to the next step of the summer challenge.

When you unlock your quest, head to the Adventure Park to start it! But first, you’ll need to talk to one of the Kinz to learn about your new quest.

When you complete the first step of your challenge, you’ll be awarded the Sparky’s Scavenger Hunt Adventure Pack. Drag it into your room to unlock your quest, then head to the Adventure Park to talk to Sparky! You’ll find him standing by the caves, near the top corner of the Adventure Park:

When you click on Sparky, you’ll learn about your quest and see what you’ll win when you complete it. You’ll need to add the grand prize for completing the quest into your room, to advance to the next step of the summer challenge.

Dear Diary,

You’ll never believe how INSANE things are at my house today! My entire family has come for Thanksgiving (like they do every year) but this year? They seem even louder and crazier than usual!

My twin cousins, Robby and Bobby, arrived and immediately started tormenting Millie. For some reason, they’re more interested in bugging her than me this year (hooray for me, boo for Millie). Millie ran and told my mom and Robby and Bobby got in trouble. That’s been happening all day long. I think Robby and Bobby have been grounded for about one hundred years in total.

My little cousin Holly is so cute – she’s able to walk and even said “Molly” when I gave her a cookie. Isn’t that the cutest thing?

Most of the family is watching football on TV right now, and my mom and grandma are in the kitchen cooking dinner. I think I’ll join them – I just heard Bobby and Robby say something about sprinkling the chips with hot sauce.

But today my mom said enough was enough and that Molly had called on me several times and I was going to call her back. I took a deep breath and called her and you know what? She was awesome. She didn’t even mention Purr-Cilla. She just wanted to fill me in on her latest babysitting assignment. Apparently it went a lot better than the last time when Millie ran away. Finally I couldn’t stand it any more and told her how I overheard Purr-Cilla talking about me to her friends. She was so nice about it. She didn’t say ‘I told you so’ at all. She just said she was really sorry that that happened to me. I am so lucky that I have real friends like Molly. She asked me if I wanted to come over and play with Millie and her in the tree house. Millie’s been bugging her for another tea party.

As I was leaving to go to Molly’s, Janice showed up. I asked if she was there to go swimming in my pool, but she said she was hoping I would come to the Arcade with her. I guess she must have seen me at the Arcade the other day when I overheard them talking about me because she suddenly blurted out that she was really sorry for the way she and her friends had treated me. She said that sometimes she’s too scared to stand up to Purr-Cilla because she doesn’t want to get on her bad side, but that she really liked hanging out with me this summer and hopes we can still be friends.

I’m still not exactly sure how I feel about it, so I told Janice I would think about it and then I left for Molly’s. But you know, I did like hanging out with Janice too. Maybe we can be friends. We’ll see.

I raced up the tree house ladder and peeked inside and there was Millie, sitting in a circle with her dolls and pouring them each a cup of tea from her toy teapot! I practically screamed “Millie!” at her in relief, and she just looked over as if nothing had happened and said “Oh, hi Molly!”

“Where have you been?” I cried, and suddenly she seemed to recall that she was mad at me. Her face twisted into a grimace, she crossed her arms, turned her back on me and stated “This is my new home and you’re not welcome here.”

I didn’t care if she was giving me the cold shoulder or not. I leapt across the room and grabbed her up in my arms and hugged her. I felt like I didn’t ever want to let go. I told Millie that I was sorry I tried to make her eat all her carrots. She said that she was mad because she thought that when I babysat her we were just going to have fun together all day and when I tried to make her eat her carrots I ruined that.

Maybe I was being a little too rigid. I guess when I’m babysitting I can chill out a bit and let my mom worry about things like getting Millie to eat her vegetables on her watch. So I promised Millie that next time I babysat I would not be so bossy if she promised to never ever EVER run away like that again.

Then Roberta and Nibbles climbed up the ladder and joined us in the tree house and the four of us enjoyed a lovely tea party until my mother came home. I even went into the kitchen and got the ice cream out of the freezer and we all had a bowl.

This is awful! I can’t believe that Millie actually ran away from home! Just because I tried to make her eat her carrots! I called Roberta and Nibbles and they are on their way over to help me try to find her. I feel sick – I never should have left her alone in her room when she was so upset, but how could I know she would run away? 

Roberta said that when they get here we are going to split up and go looking in all of Millie’s favorite places. But I’m not sure – maybe someone should stay here just in case Millie decides to come back? What if she never comes back? What will my parents do? No! That’s not going to happen, right? We’re going to find her! Right? 

Oh, this is just the worst thing that ever happened to me!

Oh no, oh no, oh no!!! This is not happening! Today my mother decided to use one of the babysitting coupons that I gave her for Mother’s Day so she could do some shopping and have lunch with Ms. Cowoline at Le Snout.

We spent the morning playing checkers and coloring in Millie’s coloring books. It was all going just fine until lunchtime when I told Millie that she couldn’t have any ice cream until she finished her carrot sticks. I don’t know what the problem was because my mother does that all the time and Millie just eats the carrots. But for some reason when I told her to eat them she just folded her arms and said ‘no!’ I said fine and put away the ice cream and next thing I know she was having a full-out tantrum! I dragged her into her room and said she could come out when she calmed down.

She stayed in there for a long time so I just read my book in my room. After a while I decided to check in on her and when I walked into the room, she was gone! She had torn a page out of her coloring book and wrote a note in crayon:

Where could she be? My mother is going to freak out! She will never trust me again!

Whatever. So I decided that since Roberta wasn’t going to come I should room with Molly instead. So I called her to tell her that and she was kind of weird about it. So I asked if she didn’t want to room with me and she said it wasn’t that. She said that both Salley and Polly had already asked if she could share a room with them and she didn’t know who to choose. I said I had the perfect solution – Salley and Polly could share and Molly and I could share. But Molly said she wasn’t sure if that was fair since they had asked her first.

I can’t believe this. This school trip was supposed to be awesome and now everything is turning out badly!

Roberta here with some good news and some bad news. So today was the first day of the auditions for Kinzville Sings. A couple of our friends were auditioning so we all went out to the auditions to watch and give them our support. Cowabelle was one of the first to get called up. I was kind of worried about her because she wants this so badly I thought she might get nervous and mess up. But Cowabelle loves performing and I guess she doesn’t let the butterflies get to her because she got up on that stage and hit a home run. She looked confident and she didn’t hit a single wrong note. I was so proud of her.

But then there’s the bad news. Because not too long after Cowabelle performed, Molly was called up on stage. Molly is an okay singer too but she hasn’t done as much performing as Cowabelle and I don’t know if she just got really nervous up there in front of everybody but, well, let’s just say it was not good. She kept forgetting the lyrics and when she did remember she never seemed to be able to hit the right note. When she finally finished, there was a smattering of applause (of course, all of the ‘Kinz whooped and cheered for her) and she looked just miserable. The judges thanked her but it was pretty clear to everyone that she would not be going through to the next round. Poor Molly.

Dear Diary,

Sometimes, I like having a little sister. Like when Millie is at school or asleep. Then she’s just great. Other times, however, I just really wish I was an only child.

Like today.

I’ve been SUPER excited about the Kinzville Sings contest coming up – I mean, really – it’s going to be the biggest thing that’s ever happened to Kinzville. I’m a pretty good singer, and an OK dancer. I thought that with a little practice, though, I could take it to the next level. So that’s what I tried (key word is ‘tried’) to do.

Until Millie came along, that is.

I was singing a song I had made up, and practicing dance moves that I had seen in a music video, when Millie marched into my room and told me to knock it off.

I told her it was important to practice. She said that maybe I should practice outside because my singing was giving her a headache and my dancing sounded like a herd of buffalo.

I told her she should mind her own business.

One thing lead to another and we ended up yelling at each other.

My mom was trying to get some work done at home, so she wasn’t too pleased. But guess what? She actually AGREED with Millie. She said, “Molly, I understand that you need to practice. But other pigs live in this house, and you’re not exactly quiet. Outside sounds like a perfect place to practice.”

So I ended up in the backyard.

After singing and dancing on the deck for about an hour, I got the sense that I was being watched.

And I was. By Millie and her little friends, standing at the back door. They were all laughing hysterically.

Millie had called them over to see ‘the show.’
Anyway, long story short, I stomped out to the tree house and practiced there. Which isn’t easy, because the roof is kind of low and there’s not a lot of dancing room.

If I don’t end up winning the contest, you’ll know why.

So all the ‘Kinz said that they would help me with the party! Stoogles says he is going to choose the tunes for the party and Roberta said she would craft the invitations and some decorations. Cowabelle and Sparky are going to make the cake and Alex said that he will help Roberta put the decorations up. I am going to get cooking and make loads of food for the party.

This is going to be so much fun. Polly will be so thrilled!
