Nibbles’ Real Friends

Hey. I’ve kind of been keeping a low profile since I realized that Molly was right about Purr-Cilla using me for my pool. I mean, I just felt so stupid and I didn’t want Molly to say ‘I told you so’.  My mom keeps asking what’s wrong because I told her just to tell my friends I’m not home. It’s just that I don’t want to invite Purr-Cilla and her friends in when they show up (which they do regularly, hoping to go for a swim) and I’m too embarrassed to see my other friends.

But today my mom said enough was enough and that Molly had called on me several times and I was going to call her back. I took a deep breath and called her and you know what? She was awesome. She didn’t even mention Purr-Cilla. She just wanted to fill me in on her latest babysitting assignment. Apparently it went a lot better than the last time when Millie ran away. Finally I couldn’t stand it any more and told her how I overheard Purr-Cilla talking about me to her friends. She was so nice about it. She didn’t say ‘I told you so’ at all. She just said she was really sorry that that happened to me. I am so lucky that I have real friends like Molly. She asked me if I wanted to come over and play with Millie and her in the tree house. Millie’s been bugging her for another tea party.

As I was leaving to go to Molly’s, Janice showed up. I asked if she was there to go swimming in my pool, but she said she was hoping I would come to the Arcade with her. I guess she must have seen me at the Arcade the other day when I overheard them talking about me because she suddenly blurted out that she was really sorry for the way she and her friends had treated me. She said that sometimes she’s too scared to stand up to Purr-Cilla because she doesn’t want to get on her bad side, but that she really liked hanging out with me this summer and hopes we can still be friends.

I’m still not exactly sure how I feel about it, so I told Janice I would think about it and then I left for Molly’s. But you know, I did like hanging out with Janice too. Maybe we can be friends. We’ll see.

Way to go Nibbles! You called Molly back and had courage to talk about Purr-Cilla and to say that you were wrong! Maybe even because of you the Kinz’ might even have a new member: Janice!

Bubble gum girl, who ever they wanna hang with, they hang with. Sure, it would be nice for those 2 to make peace, but they can hangout with Purr-cilla. And if they choose not to be her friend, their choice. P.S. Don’t mean to be rude. :)

I don’t blame Janice. Purr-cilla IS scary. But at least she has one less enemie, right? Let’s hope Purr-cilla accepts that sometimes Janice just want’s to hang out with others, even though they are good friends. Maybe Purr-cilla will realize she was being lame. Hopefully, Purr-cilla and the ‘Kinz will make peace. And hopefully, this isn’t a trap. You never know…
