We’ve been having a fantastic time with Webkinz fans all week, and we’ve played a lot of games like the real life Wheel of Wow and MAZIN’ Hamster Plinko.

Hi everyone!

There seems to be an issue with our Webkinz Road Trip Map. As a result, this has caused events to show up on the map that we’re not attending this year.

Please note: We are NOT attending the California State Fair. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.  The Webkinz Road Trip Map will be fixed to reflect the correct dates in a few minutes.

The next stop on the Webkinz Road Trip Van Tour is July 16th at Richard’s Crafts in Livermore, CA. We hope to see you there!

Some of the crowd favorites were the Hula Hoop Contests, Webkinz Trivia games and of course, let’s not forget the Hug a Pug dance and the awesome prizes!

Aside from the prizes we gave out at the event, we also received some fantastic prizes ourselves from fans… did someone say cookies! These cookies were extra special because they were made using a yummy recipe we posted on Webkinz Newz.

The real-life MAZIN’ Hamster Plinko game and the Wheel of WOW were also both big hits at the San Diego County Fair.

We met some interesting Webkinz fans including the Military Bulldog who couldn’t wait to get his paws on our Webkinz Road Trip van!

This week, we had a chance to interview Josh from the Webkinz Road Trip team.

1. What’s your favorite game at the Webkinz Road Trip Events?

Josh: My favorite game is Plinko at all of the Events. At the fair, because of all the foot traffic I really like to do the Jelly Bean Count. If someone tells me that they have lots of pets or know lots of Webkinz facts, I put them to the test.

2. What’s the name and species of your favorite Webkinz pet?

Josh: That’s easy, my skunk named Sammy. I also have a Bullfrog named Edgar.

3. What are the two most popular games at the Road Trip Events?

Josh: Usually the most popular game is whatever game I am running. The kids seem to respond to me the best, haha. When we get a big group of kids that know how to do the Hug A Pug it is awesome.

4. What’s your favorite thing to do in Webkinz World?

Josh: Polar Plunge Cash Cow, The Ant Game or Gem Mining

5. What’s your favorite thing about the Webkinz Road Trip Events?

Josh: Seeing the reactions and impressions that you make on these kids just makes me feel good as a person, and that we are doing something really good on this tour. The Events at the stores are always good and our customers and sales reps love when we come to their store. There is just lots of fun and games. When we go to the hospitals, you get a please and thank you every single time. The kids are so happy to see us, especially when they see what we gave them. It truly not only makes their day but ours as well.

The Webkinz Road Trip event at the San Diego County Fair is underway and there are tons of FUN activities to participate in, including action-packed dance and Hula Hoop contests!

And of course, let’s not forget the ZUM Toss! Our fans have been tossing ZUMS at lightning speeds the entire event.

A few days ago, we shared with you that we’ve been doing the Hug a Pug dance with fans all week. Now, we’ll let you know about the Webkinz sale!

At the Webkinz Road Trip San Diego County Fair event, we’re selling selected Webkinz pets for $5 each (while supplies last).
