Ella McWoof here with a special report! Kinzville has a new mayor! Arte has officially won the Webkinz Votes 2024 election, and will become the new mayor of Kinzville in 2025. Here is what he had to say during his press conference:

“Today looks like a good day for Mayor-ing! Thank you to all the other candidates in this year’s election– and thank you to the Citizens of Kinzville for choosing me to be your next Mayor! Even if I wasn’t your first choice, I think it’s important that you know I’m here for everyone, and together we are going to move Kinzville forward!

I am so excited to finally be able to bring a new rare room theme into the rotation at the Curio Shop, and I think you’ll all be excited to see exactly what that new artistically decorative theme will be! Stay tuned here to Webkinz Newz in the coming months for the announcement and for a sneak peek!

Until then, I’ll be working with Mayor Goober to smoothly transition into my new role starting in 2025. In the meantime, make sure you come by the Curio Shop in Webkinz Classic to say “hi!”

Debbie is running for Mayor! Read her mayoral campaign speech below:

“Citizens of Kinzville, it’s good to be back! Some of you may remember me from my days of running the Travel Agency. Almost ten years ago, I closed down the agency to fulfil my lifelong ambition of traveling the world.

While I have loved my travels, I was recently invited back to go behind the scenes in Webkinz Next and consult on the development of an amazing new seaside resort and travel agency. (If you haven’t yet taken a a vacation in Webkinz Next I highly recommend it!) Being back made me realize just how much I have missed Kinzville and its inhabitants and I asked myself what I could do to help bring balance to the citizens of this amazing community!

My travels have been a whirlwind, and while at times there have been thrills and excitement, I have also visited places that have taught me how important it is to take time for yourself, to reflect on where you are, and to be sure to live a healthy lifestyle, both for your body and for your mind.

That is why my campaign promise is that I will open a new spa in the Clubhouse! This spa will be open to all residents of Kinzville. I hope you will put an emphasis on self-care and visit the spa every day. When you stop by to see me, I will give you a free spa treatment that you can use on one of your pets. When you give this treatment to your pet, it will fill their health, happiness and energy meters.

Come visit me at the Kinzville Park, from November 22- 29, to collect a special Webkinz Votes 2024 gift box every day, containing my campaign hat, sign or plushy. They each had strong campaigns and I am proud to have run alongside such leaders and outstanding citizens of Kinzville. It has been a busy month, but I am looking forward to the future! Dr. Quack and I have worked together well in the past, and he has already reached out, and assures me that I can rely on him for support in my new role. It’s always been a blast, but moving forward, I know that we will continue to play, share and grow together as a community! As promised, I will be adding new items to the Wheel of WOW, when I take on my new role next year. Oh yeah!”

If elected mayor, I promise to remove the divide between Free and Full players when it comes to clothes in the KinzStyle Outlet — if I sell it, it’s either Deluxe or it’s for everyone.

Ella here with a special Webkinz Votes 2022 report! It’s time to hear from our third mayoral candidate: Goober! Your favorite scientist is officially running for mayor of Kinzville! Let’s see what he has to say about his campaign:

“Although I have my lab work down to a science, I’m ready for a new role as mayor of Kinzville! I’ve been working hard for many years (go science!), but it’s time to hang up my lab coat and safety goggles and try something new! Well, maybe I’ll keep my goggles close at hand, but I promise to work just as hard as your mayor, as I did in the lab.

At first, I struggled with my campaign, contemplating how I could be the best mayor I could be. Then it hit me. Eureka! I had worked out the formula for fun! New prizes are always a plus, so that is why I, Harold “Goober” Hausenfeffer Jr., promise to release brand new prizes throughout the year, that can only be won by spinning the Wheel of WOW! A new prize will be switched every time the Wheel of WOW is updated, so loyal citizens who play every day will have the best chance to win it!

Friends, please vote for me on November 25th. It’s going to be a blast!”

Michael Webkinz mentioned on a recent episode of Podkinz, that if elected, Goober would be releasing a new room theme. Goober has confirmed that his promise is to release new prizes on the wheel, but the items wouldn’t necessarily be part of a matching room theme. So, it’s unclear what the new prizes will be, but I’m sure Goober’s campaign promise appeals to many players!

Don’t forget to visit Goober every day at the Kinzvillle Park from November 13 – 18. Every day you can collect a gift box from Goober that contains one of three prizes: A campaign hat, sign or plushy.

Ella here with the scoop on all the candidates running for Mayor of Kinzville! 2022 brings some bright new faces and the newest (youngest) face is Nibbles! Let’s hear from Nibbles about how she would improve life for the citizens of Kinzville:

“Citizens of Kinzville, I know I may be young, but I think that makes me perfectly positioned to propose an exciting change to the way the Academy, and thus the way the community works! School is a key pillar of life in Kinzville. But while I’m all about working hard in school, I’m also all for playing hard.

That’s why, if I were to be elected mayor of Kinzville, I would reduce the number of days between recess from 15 to 10. I love doing classes in the Academy, but I also love to recharge between classes during recess. Recess means fun and games, the chance to earn cool prizes, and yummy snacks. Who wouldn’t want more of that?

I hope you’ll agree that working hard needs to be balanced with playing hard, and happy students make the best students. So let’s improve our grades and our way of life.

I hope you will give me a chance to improve Kinzville by bringing students more chances to play when you cast your vote during Webkinz Votes 2022, November 25th – 27th.

Hi, peeps!

It’s a been a little while… I’ve been so excited for summer that I just got caught up with everything. And you know what one of the best things about summer is? The Marshmallow Collection event! I don’t know about you…. but I LOVE hot dogs! When I saw those were the prizes, I just had to make a room with them. Check it out!

It’s a bit of a mess, but there’s a nice picnic area and some delicious treats to be had… the perfect way to spend the summer!
