Mayor Arte has a BIG announcement about 3 NEW epic items he’s added to the Webkinz Classic Curio Shop!
“Hey there, Kinzville. As I previously revealed in my earlier sneak peek announcement, I have now added 3 NEW epic items to the random rotation of Curio Shop items!
Once again, these new items are NOT rares, but rather exclusive to the Curio Shop, so they are more likely to appear in the random shuffle of stock throughout the day.
All 3 items are designed to go together with the Webkinz Crown of Wonder and are a must for the Webkinz collector who has everything. But because these new items are SO special, you’ll need to save up A LOT of KinzCash to afford them.
Now, I have heard some complaints that these items aren’t affordable for regular Citizens of Kinzville. While that is true, I am willing to make some concessions by making the prices variable instead of fixed. So while they may sometimes appear at an even higher price, there’s also a chance you’ll find them for a small discount too.
Here’s a look at the 3 NEW items with their price ranges:
1. Webkinz Gown of Wonder – 225,000 – 275,000 KC (Fan-design by MaeLilyFlower)
2. Webkinz Sceptre of Wonder – 450,000 – 550,000 KC
3. Webkinz Throne of Wonder – 900,000 – 1,100,000 KC
While all these items are expensive, all 3 can also be traded, so you might be able to get one in the Trading Room if you can find yourself a wealthy Webkinz benefactor!

Does EPIC mean RARE? Do we check every hour around the clock or just during RARE events? Please explain. Thank you.
I can help you out with this. The gem items are NOT the same as rare items, so asking Arte about rares won’t help. The gem items are part of Arte’s Favorites, so they could show up unannounced at any time. So, if you really want to, you could check every hour, but chances are good that you’ll come across it on your own when you’re not even really trying. Arte’s Favorite items aren’t typically that hard to find, especially if you already check the Curio Shop more than once a day.
I bought 2 thrones. One for me and one for a friend. Now I have very little KC left.

Well, I did it. I saw that Arte had the Throne of Wonder for sale at 10am kinztime in the Deluxe section. I really do think the prices are insanely ridiculous. I wish these 3 premium items could be acquired through gem trading – like 5 of each gem for the throne, 4 of each gem for the scepter and 3 of each gem for the Gown. I think that would be more realistic for most players. Oh well, it’s only kinzcash not real cash and since I can’t be so extravagant in real life, I will let my pets live that fantasy. Congratulations to the player who designed the Gown – it is my favorite of the three items.

I like the idea of an elite room theme where items may be expensive, but I would have loved to have seen a Curio Shop theme (it is Arte after all!) Some counters, shelf, door, and many creative, eclectic items would have been kind of fun. Keeping the cost expensive, but not crazy, would have allowed for a more doable collection over time, item by item. These prices are a bit too steep though, imo. I think of the hours and years invested to amass 1 million kc and I just can’t justify it for the throne. I realize many players will purchase the throne simply because they can, so good for them. I hope they enjoy it!
Hello. I have been playing Webkinz Classic for seventeen years. No item has ever come close to being priced this high! Even if I had the kinzcash I do not think I would bother with these. It isn’t really fun!! And the prices are not truly that variable. You have made a lot of players unhappy.
Also, the GWRewards – left side of this screen, click on that and turn those points into KC :)
To all the collectors out there the Webkinz Throne of Wonder is in the Curio Shop right now 10:00 – 11:00am. It is selling for 1,1000,000 KC can only be purchased by deluxe players.
FYI Be Careful Arte does not have a limit of only 1 item purchased, I found out the hard way. :(

“Once again, these new items are NOT rares, but rather exclusive to the Curio Shop.” They have said multiple times they are not rares, which means you can buy more than one like his other Curio Shop items. Hope that helps!:)

This is totally a Ganz joke! Why would a new member even want to start collecting anything?? And where is the “Crown of Wonder” room theme we are supposed to put these in? I’m really tired of getting these one and two theme items for theme rooms that don’t exist! I have plenty of Kinz cash but will NOT be buying these insane items in protest to all the others who can’t afford! Have some compassion Ganz!!!
