Thank you for this post…I was getting the “wait til next month” message for the last 2 days…I ignored it after reading this on the Newz, logged in this morning and received all of the POTM goodies, no problem!
Same. Was planning to ask if someone would investigate what was up, or buy Ms Birdy a new calendar or something. Sheesh. Glad to hear it is actually working, I will get mine adopted today.
I went to adopt him today and Ms Birdy told me to wait until next month! Please fix.

The issue is cosmetic. Adopt the pet – you will receive the Pet of the Month loot bag and then you can take part in the extra activities.
