Happy Thursday!
It’s the last Thursday of February and we’re still neck deep in snow. Is spring going to arrive soon? I can only hope!

First up is this sunny/starry eyed Meerkat! This natural colored cutie has some sweet purple ears and the bright blue pet patch from a Hippo!

Next up is this caramel Spotted Pig with Highland Cow horns (very similar to one I have!). I love the splash of color from the tropical eyes and the sweet purple feet.

And now a caramel Highland Cow! Just a hint of color with the sandy sparkle paws and rainbow leg flair. Those black horns and dark brown Capybara eyes really stand out!

I have one of these seafoam Spotted Pigs, too! Though mine doesn’t have the White Poodle’s pet patch. I think this pet looks adorable with the leopard spots on the back and the lime pattern ears.

This sweet Marble Cat has the green mint eyes and holly pet patch from a Candy Cane Cat and that super sweet double eye patch face pattern. There’s a hint of purple in the ears and a bit of rainbow on the tail, but otherwise a very naturally colored pet!

So, this Capybara is amazing. It has an Ice Dragon’s scale back pattern and scale ears, which are absolutely adorable. I love the purple sparkle paws, too. Very cute!

Last but not least is this coordinated Highland Cow baby with green horns and green feet! It also features the eyes and ear pattern from a Chocolate Lab. And of course has lovely zebra stripes across the back.
That’s it for this week — which pet is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!

Hi Sally. It’s not just Canada that is covered in snow. We here in the mid-Atlantic have been covered in a frozen white wasteland all month, and everyone’s nerves are wearing thin. I have a newfound appreciation for the heartiness of our neighbors to the north. You all are on a whole different level! We will eventually be moving a little further south I think. I love a pretty winter snow, but apparently there can be too much of a good thing. LOL! On to the baby showcase ~ the markings on the babies in the showcase have been amazing lately, and this week’s feature pets are no different. The infusion of so many awesome new traits from the plushie gene pool is expanding the possibilities exponentially. Mandy Webkinz would be so happy with all of the naturally colored featured babies this week! With so many amazing new patterns/works of art, why would any of the pets even need clothes?!? Personally, I would love to see the pets show off all of their gorgeous unique markings at the fashion show. I know it’s all about the clothes, but maybe we should rethink that, in light of all of the works of art many pets are now graced with? Congrats to all of the featured new Next parents!
I totally love how the Ice Dragon’s scale back pattern looks on the Capybara! It is stunning.
