This Caring Valley Weekend we will be focusing on the "Learn For The Future" area of the Caring Valley, which currently features "KIPP". KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a national network of tuition-free, college-prep public schools preparing children from low-income communities for success in college and in life.
KIPP believes that every child deserves a great education. KIPP opens schools in communities where, on average, only 4 in 10 children go to college. With a culture of high expectations for all children, outstanding teachers, more time in school learning and a strong culture of achievement, over 85% of KIPP students go on to college, which is double the national average. There are 99 KIPP schools across the U.S. serving more than 26,000 children. |
You may find Caring Valley Tree Kits at Ganz eStore. Once you have unlocked the feature code, you can plant your trees in the "Learn For The Future" area to show that you care about KIPP.
Webkinz Foundation will consider your planting choices in making donations to child-focused charities. To learn more about KIPP click here. |
