Our talented artists have been hard at work and I am pleased to present the first set of concept drawings for the Christmas Cabin room theme. This theme will be released in the W-Shop, for KinzCash, on December 1st.
Here’s a look at the original concept drawing players could vote for when we first announced that we would be releasing a new holiday room theme. I really like the classic Christmas pattern that is featured on the pillows:
Now here’s a first look at the concept drawing for the bed that will be included in this theme. It’s actually a bunk bed which is great! 2 pets will be able to sleep on the bed, but they’ll have to share the teddy bear:
The fireplace is decorated for Christmas. The green colors of the garland will work well with the rustic wood featured on some of the other pieces:
I really like the window that will be included in this theme. The garland is a nice touch. You’ll be able to see snow falling outside which will really help to create a cozy atmosphere for your pets:
Finally, here’s a look at the elegant dining table. The tablecloth is beautiful and I think this will look great in a variety of rooms, not only ones that are themed for Christmas:
What do you think of this theme so far? Do you have feedback for our artists before we start modeling the final items in 3D? Do you have name suggestions for each piece? Please feel free to leave your comments and feedback in the comment section below, and stay tuned for more concept drawings coming soon!
Can hardly wait for this to be purchased!! Looooove the bunk bed, thks creative team, well done!!
So glad this theme won, I think I am in love with that fireplace!
that bunk bed is awesome!!!
I wanted the crafty Christmas theme to win originally because we didn’t have anything like it, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I see here! Great work, creative team!
Also, please leave the chicken and the pot in front of the fireplace when you make the final design–I see some great photo/room design possibilities with those. Ooo! Better yet, make it rotatable, with two rotations featuring them and two without. That way, you can either have the items or not!
Sorry–I don’t mean to sound demanding. I’m sorry if I do. I’m just trying to offer my suggestions for the theme–which I LOVE the way it is.
I don’t see a chicken in the pot, I see a stew bubbling in there or maybe chestnuts??
Here is another thought. It would be nice if when we rotate the fireplace and the window around that the decorations would be gone so that it would be more of a Chalet/mountain feeling with simply the pine trees for the rest of the year.
That would be amazing, I second the idea to have disappearing decorations!
I acgree!! One of the reasons I voted for this theme was because I thought it had a good chance of being usable outside of Christmas rooms. I think there would be a lot of player who would be happy to see the decorations disappear on some rotations.
Rotating the decor on and off was how I envisioned the crafty Christmas theme, and if they did that here it would be fantastic!!
Yeah… I guess I wasn’t looking that closely. :D
(At the pot next to the fireplace. Sorry, I thought this post would be closer to that post)
love it
I LOVE the bunk bed and the fireplace! So Excited for Christmas this year!
Hmm, I will admit, I do like some of the items shown this far, especially the bunk bed and the fire place! The only thing I’m not wild about is the window (the panes itself are kinda too small, and I am not particularly fond of the “box” surrounding it. It’s a bit too rustic for my taste, I’m afraid), but I can always use a different one. Overall, so far, so good, Ganz artists :) That’s a lot for me to say, considering this was my least favorite theme upon voting…
Agreed, just a touch too boxy, but I am sure in the final draft they will smooth things out ;)
I love it! The fireplace and the window are my favorites. Can’t wait to see the rest!
Those look great! Can’t wait!
Awesome! What a beautiful theme to decorate with. I can’t decide if the bunk bed or the fireplace is my favorite so far. Great job Webkinz creative team!
