Dorothy Lou’s Garden Makeover

I am feeling so excited about all of the spring items in Webkinz Next that I’ve decided to give my entire garden a makeover! Here are some of the improvements I’ve made, inspired by our new Tulip Mystery Capsule, Ladybug Mystery Capsule and the return of the Kinzville flower collection.

The Front Door

As you can see, my front door used to be somewhat of a boring parking lot so I bought these Classic Flower Boxes and Flower Garden Patches as a big welcome to spring. And then I added Spectacular Spruce Trees and a gorgeous Blue Ribbon Windmill which truly has revitalized my entire front yard.

Of course, I still love to have some of my pets swinging by the front door, smiling at our visitors or welcoming home their family members.

The Garden Path

My original botanical garden was focused my dream of a flower path but I didn’t have enough garden material to create the organized, beautiful display I had envisioned. After months of collecting items, I can finally create a forest of Brilliant Butterscotch Trees to bolster my garden path.

You may also notice in the “after” picture that I’ve organized my flowers into shapes: Little circles around the adorable Ladybug Swings and a heart to frame my Garden Party Umbrella Table and Garden Party Chair. Tell me this isn’t the perfect place for a garden party!

The Pool Enclave

The Tulip Patio Tile from the Tulip Mystery Capsule inspired me to create a patio with these beautiful Stone Patio Tiles. I added my Tulip Patio Plant (probably one of my favorite items) and the Villa Red Potted Flowers. Plus, I scattered some of my flower collection around the space. The flowers look so sweet when they’re randomly placed.

I also took the windows away from this little enclave and I changed the exterior of my house to a Berrybrick Exterior. Now it feels like my pets are swimming in a secret corner of an old city which is fancy, chic and an absolute upgrade.

The Wishing Corner

I love this little corner of my makeover because all I did was add a little fancy by putting an Oak Tree in the corner and arranging the other items around it. I also added some Stone Paths and Tiles to match the Stone Stockpiles. Plus, once I moved everything into the corner, I had room for a Fallen Log Bench which is the perfect place to sit after making a wish at the Antique Wishing Well.

So, what do you think? Is this a successful makeover?

Dorothy Lou, you are a talented decorator! I love the changes you have made and I am inspired to beautify my home as well.

Oh and I wanted to thank you for the suggestion about the Butterscotch Trees. So far I have bought 27 of them. They give off a candy that sells for 10 kc at the Wshop. I feel they are a permanent investment better than gardening that you have to replant every 10 growth cycles. I like the windmill but wish it was a dispenser paying KC. After all windmills produce energy.

Oh, Dorothy Lou, you have put so much work into your new garden designs. I want to redo my pool area too, but needed inspiration. Thank you! If we could get a barbeque grill dispenser and maybe a tiki bar dispenser we could have a pool party. Pool party season is almost here. Great job on your redesign!

yeah yeah. problem is you get multiples of stuff you don’t want multiples of. I didn’t need 2 grills.

Amazing, Dorothy Lou! I love your home! It’s so zen, and I think you inspired me to make my garden and patio a little different! Though I’ll be going for something a little more modern. And I’m going to have to wait a bit since I’m very low on diamonds and KC. I love befores and afters too! I love seeing the improvement. EgKinz
