Ella on the Street: A Special Report from the Kinzville Park!

Hello again Webkinz Newz readers! It’s Ella McWoof, Kinzville’s resident blogger and I’m here with another special report! Daisy Doe has announced that she has set up a small snack cart in the Kinzville Park and will be handing out smoothies until Oct 4th. Is this a kind gesture on her part OR is she sending a message to Mr. Moo: Get healthy or moove out!

For nearly 5 years, Mr. Moo has been running a successful (and sweet) ice cream business in the Kinzville Park, providing mouth watering treats to hungry Webkinz. Now that Daisy has set up her own snack cart offering a healthier alternative to ice cream, could Mr. Moo’s business suffer, or even worse… be forced to shut down? I headed to the park to find some answers…

ELLA: Mr. Moo… What are your thoughts on Daisy Doe?

MR. MOO: I was quite insulted by her to be honest! She posted an official letter on Webkinz Newz stating that I “profit by providing unhealthy snacks to the citizens of Kinzville”. That suggests that I am not concerned with the well being of Webkinz which is untrue.

ELLA: She’s giving away free Sweet Soy Smoothies here in the Kinzville Park until October 4th. Has your business suffered because of this?

MR. MOO: Not at all! My ice cream is famous in Kinzville. It will take more than an ambitious deer to put me out of business… if that’s her intention.

ELLA: So just to confirm… you’re not closing shop anytime soon?

MR. MOO: Of course not! I am fine with healthier food options to choose from but let it be a CHOICE. Telling others what they SHOULD be eating is unfair.

ELLA: So I take it you are not a fan of Daisy Doe?

MR. MOO: You know, when she first arrived in town I was intrigued. But now I’m having second thoughts. Do you see how close her snack cart is to mine? It’s almost like she is TRYING to block Webkinz from accessing my cart. That’s not right.

I wanted to talk with Daisy Doe to see what she had to say so I headed over to her cart for a Sweet Soy Smoothie.

ELLA: This is delicious Daisy! You’ve proven to be quite the chef!

DAISY: Thanks Ella! I am happy that I have been able to prove that eating healthy can be delicious!

ELLA: Your Veggie Fest seemed to be quite successful. Congratulations! Does this mean that you’ll be opening your restaurant soon?

DAISY: There’s a lot of planning that must go into opening a restaurant. It doesn’t happen overnight. I felt the need to keep the idea of healthy eating at the forefront of everyone’s minds so that’s why I opened my cart in the park. This is a much faster way to provide healthy treats to the citizens of Kinzville.

ELLA: Mr. Moo has been selling ice cream in the park for quite some time. Are you concerned that his business may suffer by offering an alternative to his ice cream?

DAISY: My biggest concern at the moment is promoting the importance of a healthy life style. Foods that are high in sugar and fat seem to be popular at the moment.  I want to change that.

ELLA: Why do you think they are popular?

DAISY: Unhealthy foods are cheap and quick to make. At the end of the day it’s just easier to throw a frozen dinner in the microwave or stop at a fast food restaurant then it is to prepare a nutritious meal. It’s an overwhelming problem that is just getting worse.

ELLA: Do you think you can change this on your own?

DAISY: I am going to try. Kinzville needs a leader in a revolution against unhealthy foods and I hope to be the one that can change our habits for the better!

Have you visited Daisy in the park? Do you think that she’s trying to compete with Mr. Moo or is she really trying to spread the word about healthy eating? Do you think she would be a good leader for the “revolution against unhealthy foods”? Please leave your comments below…

I’ve been an organic vegan for five years so I’m all for Daisy Doe!!!

  2. TennesseeFrogs2 says:

Good job Mr. Moo! I applaud you for defending yourself. As for Daisy Doe, it seems she wants to destroy unhealthy snacks all together? She’s a bit too full of herself.

  3. 9dogmolly says:

If Daisy Doe shuts Mr. Moo down ever, I will be very upset. I think she is being kind of obnoxious with her advertising.

  4. cvasko says:

I think Ms. Daisy is pushy. She has just come to town and is now trying to push out our ice cream which has been enjoyed for a long time now. She should have to move her stand away for the ice cream vendor he was he first. and a letter sent to miss Daisy from all of Mr. Moo’s friends they can share the park togeather in a peaceful manner. NOT this fighting who is better.

  5. BunnyCarrothunter1 says:

Don’t worry, Mr Moo, you have lots of pets and people alike that still love your ice cream! You come every once in a while, so how is that bad?

  6. kbk100 says:

I love that Daisy is promoting veggies but I think she thinks to highly of herself. Plus she has been disrespectful to Mr. Moo. If she wants to open a healthy restaurant thats great but she is going about it in the wrong way.

    • Kitty4910 says:

I agree. Daisy is going about this the wrong way. Next thing we know she’ll be trying to put Chef Gazpacho out of business!

    • Fracktail says:

I concur. Daisy has the right idea, but she’s going about it the wrong way. And I think GANZ intended for Daisy to be like that right from the start. To be honest, at first I thought that this “Veggie Fest” was going to be like all those other shallow “eat your vegetables” promotions. But I love, love, LOVE that GANZ is digging deeper with this concept and discussing things about healthy eating that you don’t hear every day, like how eating sweets is not inherently bad, and even more advanced, the fact that people’s hard work should be respected (which is touched upon when Daisy Doe claims that Mr. Moo puts no effort into making his ice cream, when it has been stated multiple times on other interviews that he really puts a lot of love into his craft). Kudos to them for making an engaging storyline and important life lessons! :D

      • ArtMagician says:

OMG YES Fracktail! That’s exactly what I was thinking (read my comment above)! I LOVE this storyline! I can’t wait for it to all unfold! And yes, I think DD’s character was meant to change from the start, hopefully changing for the better in the end. :)

      • TigerKinzKG says:

yes,it is good that they are talking about healthy eating but daisy is going a little too far.

  7. carla8478 says:

Love the article. Especially Mr. Moo’s quote. “MR. MOO: Of course not! I am fine with healthier food options to choose from but let it be a CHOICE. Telling others what they SHOULD be eating is unfair.” Long live freedom! Myself I like a mix of healthy snacks and some indulgences too. I think it’s a great idea to have both options in Webkinz World. Mr. Moo could always add some fruit sorbet if he wanted a few lighter fair options too. Or Italian Ice made with real fruit. Sorry, half-blooded Sicilian, partial to Italian options. :)

  8. etncpink says:

YAY MR MOO! YOU STOOD UP FOR YOURSELF WAY TO GO! I NEW YOU COULD DO IT! YAY! GO MR MOO! :D :D

  9. NMKID says:

I really like some veggies. But I absolutely love ice cream! I’m glad Daisy Doe arrived in Kinzville but it’s like she’s trying to prevent us from eating sweets. I mean it’s ok to have something unhealthy every once in a while, right?? It’s not like we eat unhealthy stuff all the time!

    • jkj1004 says:

Has Daisy Doe eaten anything unhealthy before, I wounder?

      • doguniversitie1 says:

        i dunno

      • AvzoraGW says:

omg! i can’t believe that Daisy Doe is now the bad guy! Ganz, i hope you’ll do something to fix this! it’s so very important for our kids to learn to eat healthy food. yes, it’s OK to eat a goodie once in a while, but not all the time. and, btw folks, those smoothies are deeee-licious! try one!

        • kulagabro says:

i wonder if they are going to bring the pig chef into this, too

          • davdoggie says:

I agree with you AvzoraGW and kulagabro . kids should eat healthy but why is Daisy even here weren’t webkinz eating healthy before?? also webkinz is a game so does it really need to eat healthy foods???? the healthy foods even cost more kinzcash webkinz is just trying to make us spend more money! plus ,kulabro, the pig is chef gaspacho, just so you know.

    • iloveblue says:

I totally agree with you, NMKID.

    • playnowpuppy says:

Yeah Daisy Doe is taking this Health thing way too far in my opinion! I can’t believe Daisy Doe :( I thought she was really nice but now I’m starting to think otherwise :( It’s one thing to suggest Healthy eating, It’s another thing to FORCE healthy eating . . . .

      • TennesseeFrogs2 says:

Can anyone get a smoothie today? DD isn’t on the map and in the park i just get a video to watch and nothing else.

        • playnowpuppy says:

I can I’ve been getting Smoothies since September 22 :) I hope u find Daisy and can get a smoothie if not I will send u some smoothies :)

          • ArtMagician says:

Okay, just to be clear, here are my thoughts: Mr. Moo was right to say healthy eating should be a CHOICE; Daisy Doe may be doing two things, which are promoting healthy eating, but also encouraging ‘Kinz all over to stay away from Mr. Moo (which I think is mean, because ice cream is awesome once and a while); and finally, she may not be the best leader for this “revolution for healthy eating”. I think it will all become a big story! I hope she opens a restaurant, but only when she gets NICE. I bet Ganz will take this out for a while, and then come to the final conclusion: Daisy Doe becomes understanding and there is no more feuding! Who else thinks all this is exciting? I do. :D THANKS GANZ!

          • prprprprp says:

I don’t think she would be a good leader for a ‘revolution’ Daisy Doe is getting really annoying. I thought she was one of my favorite hosts but now…I don’t like her. I do like that ganz is promoting healthy eating, but not THIS way!! It may make younger kids want to rebel against Daisy because of how she is acting, and eat lots of unhealthy foods. I don’t really like her that much anymore, to honest. It’s like she doesn’t want anyone in Kinzville to have food unless it’s hers, she is competing against everyone! She would NOT be a good leader I think, I would like to see someone be leading HER in the revolution, actually! lol! someone kind, not exactly in your face, you know? I love Mr. Moo, he has always been kind, Daisy Doe is messing up the peace and serenity and KINDNESS of Webkinz World! She’s posing everyone against eachother!! *sob* Why did this have to be a part of Webkinz, I almost agree about that Daisy Doe Needs to Go thing… Please be more kind Daisy. You could have had everyone be friends with you, many more people would be eating healthy if you were kinder, and…I don’t know, I just don’t really like where this is heading so far…

          • ArtMagician says:

First there was the revolution of healthy eating…then ‘Kinz all over Webkinz World lost dietary balance…then another revolution was thought up, led by Mr. Moo and his loyal friends…and that’s how it all ended in:…………………………..the DOUGHNUT REBELLION. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister’s idea. :p Maybe more like the everything in moderation rebellion. :D

          • playnowpuppy says:

            Yeah I don’t know maybe Daisy Doe just needs to leave. . . . . :(

          • oats34WK says:

yeah i agree I’m just a bit spooked right now.

          • playnowpuppy says:

Yeah my thoughts exactlly ArtMagician! Daisy Doe is forcing people to be Healthy not giving them a choice! Like I just said It’s one thing to suggest Healthy eating, It’s another thing to FORCE healthy eating!

          • balletbear5M says:

At fist Daisy Doe seemed like she wasn’t trying to directly interfere with anyone else the…………BOOM she insults Mr. Moo and is noe going a little overboard.:(

          • playnowpuppy says:

            Yeah I can’t believe her :*(

          • TennesseeFrogs2 says:

Yeah so have i, It was working fine until today when she left the map. I’m also getting stuck next to her cart after the video. Thanks for the offer of the smoothies but i don’t really need any :)

          • playnowpuppy says:

HEY DAISY DOE ISN’T ON THE MAP OR IN THE PARK TODAY!

        • NMKID says:

That’s the same with me! I click on her cart, watch a video, and then I don’t get anything. I tried that three times and every time I watched that video, I was stuck where I was and I had to go out of the park every time and try again. :-/

      • sparklefun says:

I totally agree with you playnowpuppy! I thought that Daisy was nice at first too, but now she is my least favorite “host”, not even. It’s like she’s trying to put every other host that is involved with some type of food out of business. Although she may not admit to it, it seems that is her strongest ambition to this whole thing. (Hawkfrost from Warriors all over again)

      • NMKID says:

Yeah, she is right in front of Mr. Moo’s cart. I kind of think its a little unfair. Now I’m starting to wonder what would happen if she actually did open a restaurant…..

    • leeannhersom1998 says:

of course we can still have the things we like just try and add some good to most of your diet!!!! I think.

    • sarahcosmo says:

i agree with you NMKID but i don’t like some veggies, like eggplant lol! :)

    • scoobydoo103 says:

veggies are healthy and taste good (besides olives) , but if you have ice cream and carrots , you can only chose 1 , i am pretty sure you most of you will chose ice cream , and i think its good daisy came along for learning to eat healthy , but i really feel bad for the rest they work hard for making food / ice cream , even thou its unhealthy , so just be care full what you eat ,

    • gledenchild says:

yes you need a little treat once in a while:D NMKID and i don’t want mr.moo to leave and if he’s been here for 5 years

    • MidnightFireflies15 says:

I agree its a CHOICE and eating sweets in moderation it fine! Mr. Moo rocks! I believe daisy is taking it a little too far. Its good she want to improve healty eating habits but if you want to have icecream in the park do it and she should judge kinz for eating sweets once in a while. I bet she eats sweets in moderation as well.

    • MidnightFireflies15 says:

Also daisy doe my sister is super allergic to soy….must not be THAT healthy..

    • kittymade10 says:

Well I do, but I get your point.

    • TigerKinzKG says:

i think so too. also mr.moo i agree! she seemed cool at first but now i have second thoughts…

    • Luvtoride456 says:

      I agree!

    • efuentes says:

look how her hands are on her hips. And it shows webkinz with her.look at Mr.Moo he is waving but no kinz are with him.Daisy looks sassy in that picture why did she have to turn into the badguy im only going to Mr.Moo only. :(
