Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! Last month you voted for the Freaky Forest theme to be the new Halloween room theme. Our artists here at Webkinz headquarters have been hard at work and I am pleased to show you the first set of concept drawings! The 3D artists will use these drawings as a guide when actually creating the final items that will be available in the W-Shop in October.
Here’s a first look at a tree that will be part of this theme. If you have a name suggestion for any of these items, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below this article:
Next up is a beautiful stone owl that’s perched on top of a stone column:
This stone wall is meant to work with the columns. The idea here is that you can add a column to the edge of the wall to create a grand entrance to the forest:
Now here’s a floor tile that you can add to an outdoor room and take this Freaky Forest to the next level:
This cave looks like a lot of fun:
And here’s another look at that log bench that we showed you last month. I still think those eyes peeking out from inside the log are a great touch:
Please feel free to leave your feedback and name suggestions in the comments section below and stay tuned for the second set of concept drawings coming soon!
This has been Ella McWoof reporting for Webkinz Newz…
It will be great if we can use Kinzcash and not Epoints. All the good stuff is so expensive with Epoints.
The cave could be called the Creepy Creaky Cave
I too am looking forward to this theme! Well done Ganz. Suggestions for names: Screeching Sycamore and Gruesome Grotto .
I’m so glad this theme won because all the drawings look AMAZING, and I’m looking forward to decorating my own Freaky Forest! Name suggestions: Screeching Elm Tree, Hoo-rific Stone Column, Be Very Wary Wall, Quagmire and Ooze Tile, Midnight Haunt Cave, Ghostly Eyes Log Bench.
I can’t wait to have this very cool and spooky room! I hope there’s a way to have a 3-D background (not just a wallpaper) of the same spooky sky that is in the cave picture.
Actually, I’d settle for wallpaper, otherwise there’s no spooky background at all if you do an outdoor room.
I don’t like this theme. It’s boring. And you can only put it outside? A freaky forest should be a year round regular theme, not for Halloween. But I guess it could be okay. Some ideas for some other items – a stone with r.i.p. on it, a sign with “stay away”, a creaky gate, a pond that when you click on it ghosts come out, and a patch of jack-o-lanterns.
The stone with r.i.p. should a pit/hole in front of it with a shovel.
Love it! Great idea!
And a tree with bats hanging from it.
I have tomb stones in castle rooms behind beds so ghosts come out ;) I don’t see boring I see potential. These like other things should be outside and in isn’t that awesome !!
GARDEN PUMPKINZ and others can be placed INSIDE NOW !! So COOL.
Are your giant pumpkin gardens working? Mine can’t be placed in a room yet. I hope they fix that before October!
Twisted Tree, Spooky Statue? Spooky Stone Walls, Creepy Carpet Creepy Cavern, Creepy Log Bench. Love the room! Keep up the good work Ganz!
AWESOME!!! I LOVE THIS THEME!!! It’s horribly amazing :) Maybe a cast iron gate for the stone wall??? Be a great addition to a grave yard. With a scary black crow sitting on it!!! How spooky is that???? The Adams Family Estate would be my dream home LOL!!! Zero dusting and no yard work :D
Whoa, these drawings are great! I’m glad I looked at Webkinz Newz today! I like everything, looking forward to creating my own Freaky Forest. Prepare to release the flying monkeys…….. ;o>
Perhaps an overgrown forest pool that bubbles & steams a bit (could be a jacuzzi) and stream tiles to create a creepy creek. I’d love to see animated bats flying from the cave. Maybe something with more flowers…like deadly nightshade. Seriously, it has a beautiful flower!
What your describing is a larger version of the Dire Wolf PSI I have it it is cool and matches in a forest swamp or garden type there .
Cool!
Creepy Cave would be a good name.
