Hey guys, Michael Webkinz here with a special announcement! On Friday November 6th we will be announcing the 10 finalists for the second ever Webkinz Room Design Awards! The 10 finalists were chosen from our Fan Build Screenshots series of posts from June 6th – Nov 5th, 2015. If your screenshot was featured at anytime between those dates make sure you check Webkinz Newz on the 6th… YOU could be one of the finalists!
Each of the 10 finalists will receive 10,000 eStore points but only 3 winners will receive a Room Design Trophy! Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- The 1st winner will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. Between Monday November 9th and Wednesday November 11th, players can vote for their favorite design and the winner will be awarded the trophy.
- The 2nd winner will be chosen by the Webkinz Creative Team
- The 3rd and final winner will be chosen by me, Michael Webkinz!
We will be revealing the 10 finalists on Friday, November 6th. Make sure you’re here to see the top 10 room designs and decide which one you’ll be voting for!

This is confusing. It says that if your rooms are featured in anything from June 6th to November 5th, you are eligible. But Michael said that the to 10 are already chosen. It’s not very clear in the post. Thanks Michael Webkinz for clearing it up!!! Anyways, I can’t wait to see the finalists’ room designs.
This is a great contest, but I am not really sure it’s fair. Plenty of people send rooms in but they don’t get displayed, so they don’t have a chance to win this trophy. Instead of displaying a bunch of rooms by one person, I think you should always have different ones from different people! Thanks for the great opportunity though!
Exactly. I have sent in 15+ rooms, and how many have been featured? 1! I agree with you though, they should make it so if you were featured within the last 2-3 posts, you can’t be featured again until its been a certain amount of posts since you are featured again. I love your rooms guys, just certain people don’t get featured a lot while others get featured every time. (No offense to any of my friends here that do get featured a lot, I LOVE your rooms!)
I hope I’m at least a finalist (and Bullseyejingles as well!) Even if I was listed as “TheMamaGragon” instead of “TheMamaDragon”!

This is off-topic, but the Webkinz App says you have to update to the latest version in order to use it, but there is no available update, so it won’t let me play. The weird thing is that I was playing on Webkinz Mobile earlier and it was working, but now it says I need to update :/

If you’re applying to art schools, you can & it will count. You should list all artistic competitions you have won, & the year. Good luck with all your artistic endeavors!

This will be exciting, there have been so many amazing and creative rooms showcased! I always enjoy looking at them!
