Hey guys, Michael Webkinz here with a special announcement! On May 27th we will be announcing the 10 finalists for the first ever Webkinz Room Design Awards! The 10 finalists were chosen from our Fan Build Screenshots series of posts from December 17th – May 20th.
Each of the 10 finalists will receive 10,000 eStore points but only 3 winners will receive a Room Design Trophy! Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- The 1st winner will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. Between June 2 – June 5 players can vote for their favorite design and the winner will be awarded the trophy.
- The 2nd winner will be chosen by the Webkinz Creative Team
- The 3rd and final winner will be chosen by me, Michael Webkinz!
We will be revealing the 10 finalists on May 27th. Make sure you’re here to see the top 10 room designs and decide which one you’ll be voting for!
If you have submitted a room design and it has been featured in a Fan Build Screenshots post on Webkinz Newz, please check your email account that is associated with your Ganz World account this weekend to see if you were chosen as a finalist.
Want to send us screenshots of some of your favorite rooms? E-mail them to me at letsbuild@ganz.com. Who knows, you might see them in a post right here on Webkinz Newz!

Love this theme! For the Taxi, I would call it pick me up couch. For the bed, maybe technical bunk bed, because it has the computer under it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy for whoever was chosen as a finalist. However, I find this kind of unfair because I sent about 15 ROOM DESIGNS several months ago, and I haven’t seen them :(. Maybe they’re just not good enough, but it would be nice to know that the team at Webkinz at least saw them. ~JIUG2013 on Webkinz

I remember Michael showcased five rooms by waffer9 and they were AWESOME. I hope she/he is a finalist. I especially loved his/her frozen room and mermaid lagoon. Wow this is exciting. can’t wait to vote.
Sounds like fun. I have never posted a room but I look forward to voting for a winner. I have been super impressed by the rooms that I have seen Michael showcase. They are all awesome – Webkinz has some very creative builders.

It’s not that I am not excited for people who have worked hard to create fantastic rooms, but this made me really sad because I know I will never be able to qualify for this in the future because neither my Mom or I remember the username or password associated with my Mom’s email account that we used when I started Webkinz in 2010…
do u mean ur webkinz account? if so u can use a webkinz code to get into ur account. but i think that’s for if u don’t remember the password. :( keep on thinking about that because u could just finally remember ur username then you’ll be alright.
